Third POV
"Kill them,"
"As you wish, Sakura-sama," the three clones say in unison. The one in the middle stood with a cold blank look, similar to Itachi or Sasuke's usual face. The one with white eyes, had a sadistic look in her eyes, you can feel the blood thirst dripping from her pores. She sticks out her pointy tongue licking her lips as if she was looking at a delicious five course meal. The one with complete black eyes was filled with anger and rage, ready to take it out in a fight.
As soon as the real Sakura made sure Konoha's shinobi was going to be taken care of, she goes to pick up the dying Itachi and made a dash back to where they came from disappearing into the forest.
"Don't let her get away!" Kakashi yells.
Naruto and Sasuke nod to each other before going after her. They couldn't even get near the other side of the forest before one of the clones stopped them. It was the one they least wanted to come in contact with. "Oh no you don't," The sadistic one said with a huge inhuman smile that gave anyone chills.
Sasuke makes hands signs prepared to take the clone down. "Fireball jutsu!" He blows the tip of his finger aiming for her.
The clone doesn't even move taking the blow. When the fire clears, the clone is still there with the same disgusting smile on the face of Sakura. "Ooo, I like you. Fiesty pretty boy, just my type!" She was about to charge at him when a warp of sand surrounds her, drawing her attention away from the two boys in front of her.
The two boys took this chance to run for the real Sakura.
"She's getting too far away, I can barely sense her chakra," Sasuke says to Naruto as they humor from tree to tree.
"Never in a million years did I think Sakura would betray Konoha," Naruto mutters in disbelief.
Sasuke silently agrees. How did it ever come to this? How did she become so strong in such a short amount of time? Naruto and Sasuke worked their whole life to get to where they are so what did she do to achieve more than they have in a little over a year? More importantly, how the hell did she figure out to become invisible to the sharingan? The thought enrages Sasuke even more making him jump from the trees faster. Not sure if he wants to kill her or save her. Save her because she was the ray of light that shone through his darkness. Kill her because she was with his brother, the man who took away everything he care about and because it's clear that she has surpassed both him and Naruto. They spent most of their genin days protecting her, saving her and putting their life on the line for her. Now, things were different, Sakura no longer needed saving-at least not from the enemy. She was able to hold her own, she damn near took down more than half of their team and she didn't even use any ninjustu. Or maybe they were just afraid of hurting her and held back?
"C'mon! Why won't the bleeding stop! Get it together, Sakura! Focus!" Sasuke and Naruto heard her voice and stopped. Sakura was below the trees on the ground trying to heal Itachi enough for until they get back to base. Tears were pouring out of her demonic like eyes. She was trying her best to push all emotions aside and focus on making sure her partner doesn't die.
Itachi was falling in an out of consciousness. "Sa...kura," he says softly warning her about the intruders.
"I know, but I can't stop until I get the bleeding to slow down," she says wiping the tears off her face.
