The Dance..?!

**This book started changing a lot when I went more in depth with it, mostly because It was kinda centered on some people in my life and well people change and feelings change so It is taking a turn for the better or worse. The later chapters are longer I promise, sorry for keeping you. Enjoy my lovelies! **

**April's POV**

 "Wake up! Your gonna be late!" I woke up to none other then my mom screaming in my face.

 " Alright, I'm up! " I spoke in a grouchy tone, I sat up as she stood up and left. I got up, went over to my drawers and picked out a cyan t-shirt with some black and grey shorts. I was putting them one when I spotted my favorite hat, a snap back that was camo and had a wolf on the front. It was my favorite because It was my old schools mascot along with my old best friends hat. We moved a few years back but I keep in touch with my old friends. I looked in the mirror to adjust it. Oh, I'm April by the way. I'm a tomboy who watches love blossom and hearts break, but none of those are mine. 

I finished up to hear my big brother Zack, "April, hurry up the bus will be here soon!"He said with annoyance. I scurried out and responded by coming from behind messing with his hair and stating " No problem, I'm here"He just shook his head and the bus pulled up.

I picked up my hoodie and swiftly put it on. I ran over to my mom, hugged her and spoke, "Bye mom, love you!" She hugged back, " Love you too" I ran out the door into the bus to seat 13, otherwise known as my seat. I listened to music till we arrived, I ran out of the bus past the rest of students and to the normal table me and my friends sit at before the bell. I ran to see my best friends. Jade, Shiloh and Ava sitting with her boy friend Sam. Which I am very overprotective about Ava and Sam, he touches her. He's dead. Simple.

 "Hey April" Shiloh says in as soon as she sees me. "Hey Shy" I wave to her. I look over to see Sam touch Ava's arm. I walk over and slap his hand hard, they both snap there heads and look at me as he holds his hand in pain.

He sounded angry, "What the hell April!" I gave him the death stare and talked very sternly, " Dont. Touch. Ava. " He looked at me annoyed as Ava started laughing. Ava spoke between laughs, "April"laughs" I can take"laughs" care of myself" She started crying at that point. Then Sam spoke, "Yeah, leave us alone!" He was still mad. I spoke in  soft voice, " Sam, I will never leave. Like I've said, hurt Ava and it will be the last thing you do" I turned and walked back to the table and he scoffed. 

 "Your very overprotective, you know Ava can take care of herself" Jade spoke in an soft tone. I sighed, "I know, I just don't want her hurt" I spoke in a soft tone in return. Shiloh slammed her hands down, "Guys! There's a dance!" She scoffed. We both turn to her, " And? You know just as well as me I'm not getting asked out " I said in an truthful tone. "You have Coleeeee" Jade Said in a annoying tone. I rolled my eyes, "One, he has a girl friend and two, does there need to be a two?!" Shiloh chuckled, " Well, I wonder who Ava's gonna go with" Shiloh started. "No. No. NO. This is unacceptable!" I spoke frantically. Jade spoke trying to calm me down, "Apricot it will be okay" Apricot was a nick name she always had for me. 

Just then the bell rang.
