We were getting ready for the gender reveal. Luckily for me , Rebecca & Mac had picked my outfit , which was laying on my bed.

I picked it up , swirling around before the mirror , holding it in one hand. It looked like something a princess would wear. I put it on , my mom boobs were on display , the waist was loose , so my bump had room to prosper.

I smiled at how well it fit , the room door busted open & I slightly hid behind the curtain , forgetting this was not a wedding dress & he could see me.

" This isn't a wedding babe , it's not bad luck if I see your fine ass ." he smirked as if he were reading my mind.

I came into full view , walking close to him - taking in his appearance - in all his glory. I let go of the hem of the dress , letting it cover my feet. We were a feet away from each other. But his scent engulfed me in its entirety - it wasn't a manly woody - musky smell , it was sweet , like watermelon- but had some masculinity to it. I looked at his suit

Noticing his sneakers - he totally pulled off the formal - but I wanna be comfortable - but still totally drool worthy look off. I noticed the blue shirt peeking out & I coughed.

" You know it's gonna be a girl right ?"

he laughed , " Whatever makes you sleep at night."

We both laughed , even though we were dying to know the baby's rightful gender.

We hadn't even entered , but we knew we were in for a treat.

We followed the instructions the door left
& went inside , as the parents of the baby gender to be revealed , we were beyond excited.

The place was set up beautifully , my mom , Rebecca & Mac had outdone themselves.
I looked around in aww at how Zach's house was transformed into this in such a short span of time , since the original location that they had planned on didn't work out.

The treats on display caught my attention - as my mouth drooled at the beautiful sight.

I greeted some of my friends from school , Zach's friends at least. Talking to a few family members who took it out of their busy schedules to make it. I rushed over to Zane who was seated awkwardly in a corner of the house. I'd requested for him to come home for the weekend. He shot up - pulling me into a hug. He'd gotten much taller since the last

time I had seen him. His hair was cut much shorter & had a fade & taper - which made him look as handsome as his brother.

" You okay ?" I asked , squeezing his shoulder.

He nodded , his lips curving into a smile ,
" Shouldn't I be the one asking you that."

His voice had gotten deeper & he was shaping into a fine young man. I couldn't believe he was only 14. He was mature & polite. Sweet. He wasn't as rough as his brother. Although he participated in Martial Arts. He opted for lacrosse & swimming , instead of football or soccer like his brother.

We both chuckled , I nodded , " I'm fine."

I smiled , looking at Zach who was talking with Josh & some other friends , " Great."

We enjoyed the little get together, as it winding up to the time to reveal the gender of the baby - the moment we'd all been waiting for. We'd been ushered outside & Mac & Rebecca held two confetti guns. I looked nervously around.

They started counting -

2...

2 & a half - I was starting to get impatient.

Blue.

I looked at Zach who grinned - running over to me smiling - he lift me up , pressing his lips on mine. " I love you."

" I love you." I kissed him back.

Everyone clapped. But to me - it was just us - the sounds of hands smacking together faded & all I saw was him. He made me happy. I wrapped my arms around his neck as I looked into his eyes. The next 4 months wouldn't be easy - but it'd be worth it. It'd be bearable- especially since I had him. Him , Rebecca, Josh , Zane & my mother.
