Stars of Autumn

Chapter II

Everything went black in that moment. James sees a bright white-ish light. He moves towards it and regains consciousness when he arrives at the light.

James: (head hurts so bad it feels like he's spinning) ...What... ou...(touches his head to try and stop the spinning)

Lance: Your ok!

Mitsu: (smacks Lance on the arm) Quiet. . .(walks up to James) Hello I'm Mitsu, a healer. Don't let my age fool you I'm quite skilled.

James: (slightly glances at Mitsu) Nice to meet you lassy, but I don't care about your age. I've seen 50 year olds mess up on certain spells. (As soon as he said that he remembers his dream. He gets up suddenly, too suddenly, and instantly regrets it. He almost feels like throwing up)... Shit... (Mumbles) ...Mom... (his eyes threaten to let tears fall out. But he uses his arm to roughly rub his eyes) How long have I been out?

Mitsu: (had shooed Lance off to get water) Couple hours. . .Do you feel ill or hurt anywhere. . .also . . .nevermind. .

James: I'll be fine. And what did ya want to ask? I didn't hear the last part.

Mitsu: (shakes head) It doesn't matter. . .If you'll pardon me. . .(Climbs onto a stool nearby and puts her hand on his forehead, it starts to glow a pale blue.) Hmm. . .Thought so. . .Well better get back to refilling Lances meds. (Hops off the stool and starts to walk away) Ah, one last thing, Be careful next week. . .especially around Lance. . .

James: Lance said he wasn't coming to school next week so I doubt I'll see him.

Mitsu: (sighs) . . .Perhaps. . .perhaps not. . .Just be careful either way. . .(walks over to another table that has Kat's still body on it)

Lance: (walks up to James with a glass of water) Here take this. . .Sorry about everything that happened but to be on the safe side you'll be staying here tonight so Mitsu can monitor you.

James: (looks toward Kat) Is she okay? (basically ignored what Lance said)

Lance: (frowns) We don't know. . .Sea and Mitsu have been doing their best but. . .she still hasn't woke up. . .

Kyle: (appears out of nowhere) Quit worrying about everything! Idiot leader. . .

Lance: (sighs) . . .still though. . .

James: (sighs) Leave the lad alone... So when can I go home?

Mitsu: (comes back over) Not till noon tomorrow. . .Sorry but I have to make sure everything is good. . .

Sea: (comes out of a door) Dinners ready.

Mitsu: Ah, did you make what I asked?

Sea: (nods) I did exactly as you said.

Mitsu: Perfect. It will help rejuvenate everyone even if it does smell and look weird.

James: I need a phone (stomach growls) Do you have any type O blood here.

Mitsu: Sorry no signal down here. If your worried about your family Kyle took care of that. Also even if you want blood you have to eat this first. (Floats a small bowl,out of the room Sea came from and puts it in James lap) This will help you. (The bowl is full of a weird grayish blue liquid)

Lance: (flinches) Ugh. . .seriously Mi-Chan?

Mitsu: (looks at Lance sternly) Deal with it.

James: (fully alarmed) Kyle what did you say to my family?

Kyle: (shrugs) Not much. Just you were spending the night with your boyfriend (points his thumb at Lance)

James:(eyes go wide) You didn't say it like that did you?!
