Ouma is a robot made by DICE that was later abandoned. Before he got scouted he lived with the DICE leader who asked his inventor to make Ouma. The Dice leader lost his son so, overcome with grief, he asked the inventor to make a robotic version of him. But when the leader accepted his son's death, he neglected Ouma and ignored him, making Ouma think it was his robot body that made the leader not love him. Soon he just tried to live a normal life, pretending he was a normal human.
Nobody in class knows that Ouma is a robot and Ouma doesn't want others to know, because he hates being a robot. He basically refuses to make any physical contact with anyone and tries his best to cover up the screws. He teases Kiibo with robophobic remarks because he hates his robotic traits. Also, Ouma doesn't say 'Do robots have dicks?' in this AU, sorry to those who love that line. He also isn't as oblivious as Kiibo when it comes to human emotions.
