It Started With A Bet...

SOPHIE'S POV

"I'm telling you, Glitterbutt loves me. Almost as much as you love me, Foster!" Keefe Sencen said as he and Sophie Foster walked into the Sanctuary. Sophie blushed, heat spreading to her cheeks.

"I do not! And anyways, Silveny and I have a special bond. I was the first person to meet her, and we transmit to each other all the time!" Sophie responded.

"Aww, you're cute when you're flustered. Hate to break it to you, but I am definitely winning that bet!" Keefe smirked. The bet that he was talking about was about who Silveny was going to go to first. Sophie thought it would be her, Keefe thought it would be him.

    They turned a corner, and there was Silveny, Greyfell, and their children Wynn and Luna in the spacious alicorn pen.

"SILVENY! GREYFELL, Wynn, Luna!" yelled Sophie.

"GLITTERBUTT!! AAH GLITTERBUTT! THE KEEFSTER IS HERE!" The alicorns flew towards the  elves. Greyfell, Wynn, and Luna rushed to Sophie, while Silveny went to Keefe!

"YES, I WIN! Hey, Glitterbutt, I've missed you, you rainbow-magic-sparkle fart emitter!"

Sophie pet Greyfell, Wynn, and Luna but she couldn't help feeling betrayed by Silveny. But Keefe gave her one last pat, and Silveny trotted over to Sophie.

Hey, I missed you, girl! Sophie transmitted to Silveny.

Sophie! Friend! Miss! Keefe! Glitterbutt! Greyfell! Star! Sparks! FLY! Silveny transmitted to Sophie.

Alright, alright.

Sophie flew Silveny around the arena, and the elves played with the alicorns for a couple more hours. Finally, it was time to go. Sophie and Keefe said goodbye to the Alicorns, then Sophie had a special moment with Silveny.

    I'll be back soon, girl. I miss you. Greyfell, Wynn, and Luna are amazing. Transmit to me soon. I love you, Sophie transmitted to Silveny.

    Yes! Sophie! Friend! Family! Love! Responded Silveny.

    As the elves left the Sanctuary, Keefe said "I won, Foster," and smirked. Ugh, Sophie was so annoyed. She rolled her eyes.

"Fine, what do you want?" The winner of the bet was allowed to choose one thing the other had to do for them.

"Well, first of all Foster, I can feel your emotions, and let me just say you are not happy right now! But let's see.." Sophie wished he'd get it over with.

"Hmm, I could make you do a prank with me... oh, I know! You have to spend a day out with me in Atlantis doing things of my choice." Huh, that was it? Keefe was pretty annoying, but she thought he would make her do something bad. That actually sounded kind of...fun?

"Okay. Now, let's get back home." Sophie grabbed Keefe's hand, and they jumped off the cliff to teleport home. Then they were at Havenfield. Keefe stepped away, wiped his hand on his tunic, and raised his pathfinder to the light.

"Bye Foster! See you for our date tomorrow!" Keefe shouted.

"Wait-what? It's NOT A DATE!" Sophie yelled back, but Keefe was gone. Keefe was so annoying. It had been a long day, Sophie headed inside to go to bed.

KEEFE'S POV

Wow, that day was super awesome. And it's so fun to annoy Sophie. I'm so glad I won that bet, so I could take her out on a fun day. I know I pretended to think about what to do with her, but that was all I had been thinking about for days. Man, she's so oblivious. She can't see that all of the boys like her. Including me. She just drives me crazy! All of the girls like me. I'm not bragging, it's just a fact, with my dashing good looks and charming personality. But not her, the one I actually want. I think she's in love with Fitz. But maybe, just maybe, on this day she'll realize how I feel about her, and maybe she'll like me too?
