"Guys! Hurry! Come quick!" A voice shouted from downstairs.
James groaned a little as we kissed. I had climbed up onto him in the heat of the moment. I ignored the shout and his groan and continued to kiss him.
"Jade! James!"
I popped my head up and took a deep breath. I looked down at Franco who smiled at me. I smiled back at him and slowly climbed off of him.
"Come on." I said with a pat on his tummy. I got up from the bed and watched him get up and join me at my side. We stared at each other for a second before he planted one last kiss on my lips.
"I'll go first. Wait about a minute or two and then come down, that way it won't look suspicious."
I nodded at him and watched as he walked to the door. In just a second he was gone.
I listened to his footsteps go down the hallway and then as he went down the stairs. I moved over to the door and waited another few seconds. I heard some people talking downstairs.
I took a deep breath and opened the door, only for my heart to fly up into my throat.
There stood Danny McBride with his hands on his hips and a stupid, smug smile across his face. I cocked my head at him and tried to seem more confident than I felt.
"Can I help you?" I hissed at him, as I shut the door carefully behind me. He continued to stare at me with his hands on his hips.
"You're fucking Franco." He chuckled. "Wait till Jay finds out about what his little sister has been doing behind his back."
I formed my right hand into a fist. "I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I'm not involved with him. If you're bored and looking for something to do, try something a little more productive. Franco has plenty of books in his library. It might teach you a thing or two, but then again, he doesn't have picture books."
"I suggest you shut your fucking mouth." McBride snapped back at me. "In more ways than one too. I know a lot more than what I let on and I'm much more observant than I look. I know you two have been fucking."
I shook my head at him and let out a chuckle. "I'm not fucking him and even if I was, what's it to ya? I simply was in his room looking for something-"
"Oh, so you spent the last thirty minutes looking for something? Jade, or should I call you Jay-Jay?" McBride said. "Jay-Jay, you're not that patient. I saw you go into his room right after him earlier."
I narrowed my eyes at him. "I'm not a freak like you. I don't go into somebody's room when they're not there-"
"Jade!? Jade come here! We gotta show you something important!" Craig yelled up the stairs.
I looked to the stairs and then back at Danny. "Whatever you're trying to do, knock it off and leave me the fuck out of it. Or so help me God."
Danny cocked his head at me and took a step further. "Is that a threat, Jay-Jay?"
I stepped an inch closer to him and cocked my head back at him. "Stay out of my way, McBride. I mean it."
"Jaaaaddddeeeee!" Craig yelled even louder.
McBride and I stared at each other for a few seconds before I turned and started down the stairs, my heart beating faster than ever. Tears formed in my eyes and I had to blink them back as I approached the group.
Where had Danny come from? He didn't bother James as he went down the stairs. In fact, I swear he had been digging when I was last downstairs-
My thoughts vanished as I saw a big hole in the center of the living room that was directly where we had been working. I walked over to it and stood next to James, trying my best to act normal. We both peered down into the hole where Jay was standing up, while Seth slowly got up from the basement floor.
