I've been walking around in circles for a while but I'm scared to align and set myself free,
As my world crashes but I swore to you that I wouldn't leave,
I guess I'm hoping that one day you return and stand at my side,
Rekindle what once was and what's left without the influence of pride,
Maybe we can make the chapter right on this page,
Since your presence is the only time that everything feels right in this maze,
If only my legs would give out and release me from promises that no longer possess value,
I could finally be anything other than blue and fall in love with someone else that doesn't remind me of you,
I know we're not perfect but that's one of the reasons I fell,
The beauty of a camera isn't the lenses, it's the story it tells,
So frame that photo of us that I know you keep under your pillow still,
It says a thousand words, which is way more than you will.
Sincerely.
