Stefan awoke in Ice Nation and from what he thinks, his people have died. Sure, the transition was rough, but anything for survival, right?

He accustomed to his new environment and people. Due to the condition he came in, the queen let him stay as she thought that he was mistreated by his people. And in a sense, Stefan was, and he knew it.

He trained with the siblings who rescued him, Alec and Izzy and started putting on the weight he desperately needed. He gained muscle and was eventually healthy enough to help around the land.

But, due to the nasty rumors of the Wanheda and then the incoming rumors of the Sky People destroying Mount Weather, Stefan learned that any of those that once lived on the Ark we're still alive.

And then he learned of the conflict between his people now and the Sky People.

Or any other people for that matter.

[i have zero idea as to where I'm going with this so I am 123% winging it :) ]
