"Don't be afraid to tell me if you ain't with it
I see you're focused, yeah, you're so independent
It's hard for me to open up, I'll admit it
You've got some shit to say and I'm here to listen" - 'Love Lies' Khalid And Normani

As Roan pulled Clarke along the side of the creek, Stefan couldn't help but feel the slight quilt in his stomach. Clarke was confused and scared and had no idea who it was that captured her, and he was doing absolutely nothing.

But he kept going, jogging ahead of them. He tried to get his mind off of it, like pretending to compliment every sight of nature he saw. Or noting was colors he had seen. But his mind couldn't focus on anything besides Clarke and her grunts in pain and annoyance with the man pulling her.

Stefan stopped as he heard the sound of someone hitting the ground. He turned around to see Clarke on the floor, tired and he assumed to be passed out.

"On your feet." Roan demanded, but there was no response. He stepped towards her and rolled her onto her back. Her eyes were shut and she wasn't responsive. "Looks like the great Wanheda's human after all." Roan joked, looking at Stefan. "Go ahead, see if you can find the signs on the trees that we left. They should start just beyond the tree line." Roam explained, and Stefan nodded.

Anything to get my mind off of Clarke and the rest of the Skai Kru.

Stefan thought, starting his jog towards the tree line. He didn't get tired by running like he used to, which is a good thing. He was stronger now and he was proud of that. Stefan ran a ways down the creek, he could see Roan only faintly now.

The tree line grew closer and closer until he finally reached it and started searching the trees. He went farther and farther into the forest until he heard a large splash of water. "Oh boy." He muttered, running towards the creek. He saw Clarke struggling on top of Roan, who was submerged under the water, drowning him.

"No!" He yelped, trying to run faster than he was, but by the time he was within 40 feet of her, Roan has stopped moving. He stopped in shock, looking at the Great Wanheda, who looked at him as she removed the cloth in her mouth.

"What the hell, Stefan? Where-" She didn't finish as Roan rammed his head out of the water with a yell, grabbing Clarke and flipping her into the water. Stefan even jumped a bit, realizing that he should start running towards them again.
