The Happy Melon

*Ted's POV*~~

Luckily there was no traffic on the way! Me and Chris jumped out the car, I quickly locked it and we ran up to the front door to see a very unhappy Cherry.
"WHERE ON EARTH WERE YOU GUYS! I'VE BEEN DOING *YOUR* JOB FOR THE PAST 2 HOURS!", she screams so loudly, that most of the shop stops and watches.
"Yeah, sorry...", Chris says awkwardly. The rest of the shop is still watching so I say in my most boldest voice, hopeful to end the convosation and to also make Cherry umm... less angry,
"Yes ma'ma, it won't happen again. You see this morn--"
"I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE! JUST GET BEHIND THAT COUNTER AND WORKK!", She yelled at me.

Well, that didn't work I think to myself as I make a beeline for the counter. Chris comes up behind me, put's one arm around my shoulder forcing me down to his height, then start laughing loudly like a freak in my ear. I push him off and carry on my way to the counter. Chris is still laughing once we get there.
"Sorry Ma'am! It won't happen again Ma'am!", He mimics my voice in a surprisingly deep voice. I hit him from behind his head so he goes flying over the counter. I couldn't stop myself from laughing as he tumbled over, head first onto a customer.
Cherry came storming in, grabbed Chris by the neck of his shirt then apologized to the customer and told me to make them a free smoothie of their choice. I watched as Chris was literally dragged by Cherry, and into her office.

*Chris's POV*~~

Cherry forces me up onto a chair, while she stands in front of me, both hands on the chair arms so I'm cornered.
"WHAT ON EARTH DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!? FIRST YOU COME LATE AND NOW YOU'RE FAFFING ABOUT LIKE A BABOON! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!". The first thing that came to mind was Christina Perri's song 'Jar of hearts' when she sings *Who do you think you think you are? Running around leaving scars....*

I didn't dare to say a lyric so I kept quiet until she let me go with a warning. I practically ran out and joined Ted, who was serving a customer. As soon as he finished with the order, he mouthed to me "Busted" but I just rolled my eyes. I saw Aiden coming through the door towards me. I looked at the time, and it was 4:50?!? Already? My shift doesn't finish until 5:30 so at least I can go home in 40 minutes. Aiden looks so adorable in his uniform, I walk towards him as he walks towards me.
"Oh my God, Aiden! You look soooo--", I pick him up, my hands under his armpits and lift him as hight as I could get him,"--oo CUTE!".
"Chris!! Put me down! You're embarrassing me!", He whispered loud enough so only I can hear but I still held him, just to annoy him. We made Aiden his favourite smoothie (the banana one) and he stayed there until our shift was over.

*Aiden's POV*~~

Stupid Chris, always embarrassing me! He'll pay back for what he did! This might be my biggest revenge plot ever! I think... -_-
