Charley sighed to herself as she lie in bed as she rubbed her bump. They had Lilly for the night as grace and max were away on a school trip. Charley looked to Simon who sat across the room as Lilly lay in the bed next to charley as she sat watching YouTube. Charley smiled to her and sighed as she sat up "no" Lilly said as Charley looked to her and smiled "I'll be one minute" Charley said to Lilly who nodded. She walked out of the room and looked to Simon who sighed and followed her as they walked down to the kitchen as Charley made herself a cup of hot chocolate and looked to Simon and sighed "are you even going to try and be a father to her? She doesn't know you and your a complete stranger to her and you know it, she is your daughter" Charley said as Simon looked to her and smiled.

"She is scared of me" he said as she looked to him and rolled her eyes at him "well man the hell up Simon, I am pregnant and I am tired and I don't want to fight with you over this, how am I meant to trust you when it comes to our baby?" She asked as he looked to her and smiled "your right, I know that you are. She looks at max as her dad and not me" Simon said as she walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him "that little girl is scared. She doesn't know who you are and you need to prove to Lilly that you can be a good father as I believe that you can be, just proof it to her" she said as she leant in and kissed him.

Later that night, Charley woke up and smiled as she looked to see that Lilly lay cuddled into Simon. She felt the baby kick away at her and groaned. She walked out of the bedroom and grabbed her dressing gown. She couldn't sleep. She walked into the living room and switched on Netflix as she looked through her phone as she saw a text off of grace;
Grace-Is lily okay? Xx
Charley- she's fine, she's fast asleep xx

Charley sent the reply and sighed to herself as she ran a hand through her hair. Charley and grace had grown quite close and become good friends. Charley was glad that she could talk with grace and max, she knew that Simon had trouble with it all.

Later that night, Charley woke up as she saw Lilly who looked to her and smiled "hey are you okay?" Charley asked as Lilly held her teddy close "I have bad dream" she said as Charley looked to her and smiled "it's okay, how about we get you a drink of milk and we can watch Cinderella?" Charley said to Lilly who looked to her and smiled. Charley grabbed a glass of milk for Lilly and looked to see it was four in the morning before she sat on the sofa with Lilly who curled into her as she started to watch Cinderella. Charley looked down to the small girl and smiled, she only hoped Simon could step up and be the father that Lilly needed.
