Chapter 1: Pain and Sorrow and Grocery Bags

(Edd's house)

Tom's Pov: I was seated on the red couch between Edd and Matt while watching Zombies Pirates From Hell 5 again.

I had Smirnoff in my hand while Edd had cola in his and a mirror in Matt's.

Halfway through the movie, I got up from my seat and walked into the kitchen.

I opened the fridge and saw that we were out of food.

"Edd, there's no food in the refrigerator."

I got another Smirnoff bottle out of the fridge and walked back to the red couch.

The TV got turned off after the credits rolled then Me, Edd and Matt were walking to the dinner table.

"Edd, do you know when the grocery store closes?"

Matt looked at Edd for an answer.

"It closes at 10, Matt."

Matt smiled and decided to grab Edd's arm.

As they got up, they started to head down to the red car.

"Tom, you coming?"

I sighed and answered,

"Yeah, I'm coming."

Edd, Matt, and I got out the door, locked it and went into the red vehicle.

Once we were inside, Edd locked the doors.

Edd then reversed the car and got out of the driveway then put it in the drive. As the three drove off, Edd turned on the radio and suddenly Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows started to play. Edd humming to the tune then stopped to turn right with his signal in for a few minutes.

With an agonizing pain in my stomach and heart, I started to remember the events that took place three weeks ago.

//Start Of Flashback//

"Tom, what are you doing here?"

I looked at Tord and spoke.

"I could ask you the same thing. What are you, doing HERE?"

Tord raised his hands and said,

"Okay, you got me. I only came back to get something I left behind."

With a glare in my eyes, I asked,

"Left behind what?"

"This."

With an evil smile, he pressed the red button and a metal box dropped a yellow army hat on top of Tord's head.

Tord with a mischievous smile, he answered,

"A hat."

With confusion in my voice said,

"Oh."

"Why? What did you think I was going to do?"

I spoke, "I...erm..."

"Besides, it goes well with my giant robot."

"Haha...wait, what?"

And with that, Tord pushed the button again eagerly.
