Chapter 11

I'm shocked at what he just said like he really wants me to go out with him i start laughing "Stop joking with me." I tell him as I wave him off he smiles at me and walks closer to me "I'm being serious Ava." I sigh and meet his eyes "Come on Sam you know we're just friends" I tell him he looks a little disappointed and shrugs his shoulders "I thought we could be more but I guess not" he goes and walks to his kitchen and I just sigh I get and walk over by him he pulls out a milk carton and chug some down "It's just ever since I left I haven't been having good experiences with guys so far and I just think I need a little break from all that drama." he shakes his head at me "I promise Ava I won't hurt you" so I just stand there thinking over it I mean he doesn't seem like he is any of that crazy stuff like Carter and he is hot "Fine Sam but you only have one chance." he smiles and picks me up and spins me around "Okay put me down I have some homework I need to be doing." he finally puts me down and I slap his chest before walking to the room I work on my work before going to bed.

1 WEEK LATER
Ava's Pov
It's been a week since Sam and I went on our date but right now he is just getting off of school while I am just watching grey's anatomy I hear the door open and footsteps walking over by me I feel Sam lean down in my ear and say "How was you day today?" I smile and look up at him "It was good before you came." he smirks "Oh really?" I start to laugh as he stalks towards me he gets on top of me and starts to tickle me like crazy "S...A....M s..t....o....p" I say between laughs he finally stops and I look up at him while he is just staring down at me you can feel the tension growing in the room he slowly starts to lean down towards me before connecting our lips I froze at first not wanting to kiss back but soon enough I give in it starts to get a little heated and he asks me between kisses "Will you be my girlfriend" I just nod my head and I feel him smile between our kiss before pulling me up so I straddle his lap once we're done with are little make out session we are just sitting together cuddling "When are you going back home?" Sam asked me I shrug "I was thinking about going back on Friday."
I tell him he turns my body so I'm fully looking at him so we only have one full day left together" I bite my lip while nodding "I would stay longer but I need to get back to school Sam." and I partly miss seeing Carter but I would never mention that to him oh my gosh stop thinking about him Ava your supposed to be getting over him I mentally smack my self "I guess we're gonna need to spend the rest of this day and tomorrow and fill that beautiful mind of yours with memories because I don't know when I'll come down there to visit" I laugh at him and nod my head for the rest of the night Sam and I went to get ice cream and came home to watch some grey's anatomy it was a goodnight and I didn't even think about Carter maybe this might be good for me.
Carter's Pov
"Dude calm down just go ask Haven where Ava is." I have no idea we're my baby is and Haven is ignoring me but Ava has been gone for like 2 weeks straight I am not allowing this when lunch time comes around I make my way over by Darian and Haven "Haven stop ignoring me can you please tell me where Ava is?" she looks up at me a huffs "Why Carter? Can you tell me that you literally went and kissed another girl and my sister was generous enough to give you a second chance and you turn her down like what the hell Carter what do you want me to do?!" She yells at me Darian puts his hand on her leg i'm guessing to calm her down "Haven I just want to know is Ava is okay than I will leave you alone okay?" she rolls her eyes "She's fine Carter she just needed a break from school for a little bit." Darian tells me I know he meant she needed a break from me I walk out of the cafeteria and slam my hand on the wall Where the fuck is she! I go out to the parking lot and make my way to her apartment I get there and knock on the door but there is no answer I go back to my car and try to blow up her phone again but it goes straight to voicemail I slam my head on the wheel and start to drive home.
Ava's Pov
"Goodbye baby I'm gonna miss you I'll come and visit you okay." Sam tells me as he walks me through security at the airport I Hug him and kiss him goodbye soon i'm on my flight back to Florida I actually miss Sam I think we got really close over these past two weeks I think this relationship will actually work out without any drama I smile to myself before taking a nap on the plane.

The plane finally landed and Haven is on her way to pick me up soon I see our car I pick up my duffel bag and make my way in the car "Ava! I missed you so much!" Haven screams I smile at her and lean over to give her a hug "Oh my gosh Haven I have so much to tell you!" throughout the whole car ride I feel her in about everything that happened in Tennessee "So you and Sam now huh?" I laugh and hit her on the shoulder "I mean I guess we're gonna try to make this work." I say while shrugging my shoulders soon we are engulfed in silence "Carter has been bugging me about you for non stop" she says while rolling her eyes I chuckle a little but now i'm thinking about Carter and if he already found himself a new girl. We finally pull up to the apartment and I get my stuff out the car and go inside I go in my room and put my stuff away before going back out and I see Haven on her phone on the couch I go and sit next to her looking at what she is doing "Why are you ordering pizza?" I ask her "Because I haven't seen my sister for two weeks and we're gonna have a sister night together." I laugh at her but let her continue to do what she is doing soon I feel my phone vibrate on my leg I pick it up to see a message from sam "MISS you already." He says I type back a kissing face emoji I feel Haven nudge me with her elbow "uh uh uh Ava I can't text Darian so you can't talk to Sam" I laugh at her but put my phone away "what do you wanna watch?" I ask while flipping through movies "Um how about a cheesy teenage romance movie?" she suggested I shrug and look one up "How about the Kissing Booth?" she shrugs "Sure put it on." for the rest of the night we just chilled as sisters nothing else no boys just us sisters I look over to see Haven has fallen asleep and I'm close to soon the movies ends i turn it off before falling asleep.
