When Cas woke up, Dean was nowhere to be found. Where the hell is he? He looked at the clock. 9:06 AM. "Shit, I'm late!" He quickly got dressed and ran downstairs. There was no sign of Dean or Sam anywhere. He grabbed his backpack and jumped in his car. He was already 30 minuets late to his first class, and was too embarrassed to walk in late again, so he decided to skip it. He sat on the bench in the hallway, waiting for the bell to ring.
When it finally did, he waited for Dean like he always did. Dean walked out and didn't even acknowledge Cas standing right in front of him. "Dean!" Cas yelled, grabbing his arm. "What the hell, man? Why didn't you wake me up this morning?" Dean rolled his eyes and kept me walking. "Dean?" He didn't turn back.
Cas felt like crying, but he didn't. He sat with Meg and Gabe at lunch, not saying a word. "Cas what's wrong, you've hardly touched your food?" He didn't answer. "Come on, Cas. You can talk to us." Cas didn't want to hide his secret anymore. He couldn't. So it all just spilled out in word vomit.
"I'm in love with Dean Winchester, and we've been dating for a month now. We got into a fight last night and I don't know what to do. I love him so much." Hearing himself say this out loud caused the tears to escape his eyes, and he hurried his head in his arms. Gabe and Meg were shocked. "Wait a minute, I thought you were in love with some kid named Jake?"
"I lied," Cas mumbled. "I'm in love with Dean." He didn't care how they reacted anymore. He didn't care about anything, except getting Dean back. "Cas, why did you lie to us?" Cas sat up, wiping away his tears. "Cause you guys said he was weird before. And I don't know I was just scared. But not anymore. I just want Dean back."
"Cas, were so sorry we said those things. We love him if you love him." Cas smiled. "Now tell us what happened." Cas explained to them what had happened the previous night, and why Dean had gotten so upset. Of course, he didn't mention Dean's dad or the beatings so they didn't completely understand. "I think you need to talk to him and apologize. Let him know how much you really love him."
"I'll try."
