It was...

Yuniko Akame!

"Hello, my name is Yuniko Akame." She gave a little bow and got whispers like "Wow, she's a pretty girl."

Yuniko looked around and spotted Yuzu, she gave a small wave.

There was an empty seat right in front of Yuzu.

"Please sit over there." said the teacher, pointing out at the empty seat.

Yuniko's eyes lit with excitement but with a little sadness because right next to her was Mei, sitting there, staring.

Mei's hand shot up in the air.

"Mei?"

"Could I please take Yuzu somewhere for a few minutes?" Mei asked.

"Sure but why?" The teacher asked.

"Just business." She yanked Yuzu up off Yuzu's chair and pulled her out of the classroom.

~
"Mei?" Yuzu asked.

"Who was that?" Mei said pushing Yuzu against the wall.

"It's-its.." She looked away, she possibly couldn't look Mei in the eye.

Her heart was thumping and their faces dangerously close.

Yuzu could feel Mei's fingertips trailing up her neck "Answer me, Yuzu. Who was that?"

She looked away again, gulping.

Mei looked away and whispered "Why did you make me feel this way?"

Before Yuzu could respond or do anything, a voice called out

"What do you think you're doing?".

Mei looked over.

It was Yuniko.

"Y-Yuniko?" Yuzu said, her breath unsteady.

"Ah, you're Yuniko Akame. The one I saw at that restaurant the other night?" Mei said, moving her hand away from Yuzu.

"That's right." Yuniko leaned against a wall, still facing Mei with her shoulders leaning.

Mei walked past her towards the classroom and said something quietly so Yuzu couldn't hear it.

Yuzu couldn't read her lips, it was moving slightly.

Then Mei walked into the classroom.

~
Yuniko ran to her "You okay?"

Yuzu nodded.

"She was just talking to me."

Yuniko raised an eyebrow suspiciously for a second and said "Let's go to class."

They both headed in.

~After school.
"That was so boring!" Yuzu yawned and stretched her legs.

"Ha-ha-ha." Harumin laughed nervously.

She leaned in Yuzu's ear and whispered "Is this who you're seeing?"

"Yeah." She whispered back.

There was Yuniko, exploring the sakura trees that were the school.

"She's some goddess, alright. She's wayyy out of your league, Yuzuchhi." That gave her a good laugh.

Yuzu pouted her lips.

Harumin was right, she was kind, funny and smart. Not to mention really beautiful!

"So, I was wondering if you guys and the others could come over! We might as well celebrate for graduation." Yuzu asked.

"Sure!"

Yuniko heard and twirled around, making her shirt reveal her stomach a little.

"Sure! I'd love to see your house, Yuzu!" She smiled brightly.

Harumin leaned over again and whispered "These girls are probably your fantasies."

Yuzu frowned at Harumin but looked over at Yuniko.

That might as well been true but this was real life!

She spotted Mei and ran over to her.

"Mei... Do you want to come over to celebrate our graduation?"

Mei gave her usual gaze but saw Yuniko and said yes.

"I'll see you later!" Yuzu smiled faintly but could feel tears and pain overcoming her. She turned and ran towards Yuniko and Harumin.

"Yuzu!" Mei called after her, running.

"Huh, what is it?"

Mei grabbed her arm and was about to yank her closer to tell her something but Yuniko got there too.

"Huh? What-what's this?" Yuzu nervously said.

Both girls were on the opposite side and glaring at eachother.

Yuniko finally broke the tension and pulled Yuzu away from Mei.

"Yuniko, I want to go with M-"

"I'm Yuzu's fiancé, if you haven't known yet." Yuniko said cheerfully, tugging on Yuzu's sleeve.

Mei's eyes widen in surprise.

"Y-" Yuzu was cut off by Harumin shouting at her and Yuniko dragging her.

Mei stood there, frozen in one spot.

Mei's POV.

Married? Yuzu's fiancé?

I grabbed my neck of my shirt.

The ring...

Few weeks ago.

Mei was looking for the ring right after Yuzu left.

She round it near a tree that was near their house.

Mei grabbed it and put it on.

She squeezed the necklace and she didn't know why she ought to find it.

Present

I didn't know what to do or say.

I just sat there shocked.

This is what I deserve.

I finally walked off, my mind blank.
