Chapter 22

Taehyung's POV

I heard faint voices.

I heard gun shots.

I heard loud blasts.

What's happening?

"Blast all of them down!"

"Nooo!!!!" Wait. I know that voice.

I forcefully ipened my eyes.

The first thing I saw was Jimin hyung, his back facing me, he seems to be shielding me form something.

"Noo!! Come back here!!" I heard someone shout.

I then tilted my head to the side to see what's going on.

I saw Yoongi hyung and Lisa's dad, running towards a man that was dragging Lisa away.

With all the strength I had left, I forced my body up and started walking, limping towards them, tears forming in my eyes.

I just want her back...

I need her back...

She did nothing to desrve this...

We ALL did nothing to desrve this...

Why is life so cruel...?

"Lisa... " I breathed out.

Jimin hyung seemed to have noticed me.

"Tae! What are you doing!?" He shouted, worry evidwnt in his voice.

He was gonna run after me, to try and stop me, but tgen he got preoccupied by one of those guys holdong blasters.

I then continued walking towards Lisa, who was struglling to get away from that man.

"I'll save you.."

I stopped in my tracks to hear two loud blasts.

Oblivious to what jusg happened, I just continued walking towards Lisa, who seemed to have turned pale, tears streaming down her face.

Finally, I catched up, and immediately took her wrist, she slowly turned her head to face me.

When our eyes met, I smiled to her weakly. I then slid my hand from her wrist to her hand, intertwining them, and I'm not planning to let go.

3rd Person's POV

Everything was a mess.

Jimin, Namjoon and the other people who went with them were outnumbered, taking out as much aliems as possible.

Yoongi and Mr. Manoban, was lying lifelessly on the ground.

And lastly Lisa who was being dragged away by her alien father, stopped because of Taehyung, who was desperate for Lisa to be free.

The two were caught in a moment staring at each other's eyes full of different emotions, to notice that the Alien father stopped in his tracks and turned around raged and pissed to see Taehyung holding tgem back form laeving this planet.

He was about to shoot Taehyung himself, when a gunshot was heard, which snapped Taehyung and Lisa out from the trance.

Alien father was hit on the leg which caused him to fall.

Then anotger shot was heard.

Then another.

And another.

The alien father was hit on his arm to his stomach, then to his head.

Then finally on elast shot was heard, louder than the others, which was directed to the heart.

Who could survive this?

Not even an alien can.

The alien father fell unconcious, and finally let go of Lisa's arm, which left a mark because of how strong the grip was on her her.

Lisa and Taehyung watched as green liquid splurted out at where he was shot, before turning their gaze towards who was responsible for it.

There stood Taehyung's dad, still in his stance to when he shot the alien father, breathing heavily like he ran a Marathon, to which he did, after seeing that his son was about to get blasted.

At that moment, the police and the SWAT came in and took care of every single alien in their sight.

Though some of them retreated and ran inside the spaceship with the alien mother.

Lisa then slowly walked towards her father's body, but her hand never leaving Taehyung's.

Taehyung then followed her as she fell to her knees in front of it.

She stared at her father's body blankly, while Taehyung stared at Lisa's face full of guilt that he wasn't there to help Lisa's father.

He blamed himself for being selfish and only had his eyes on Lisa when he knew clearly heard the blasts too.

He then looked down.

I'm just a worthless and weak boy, who can't protect the important people in his life. Taehyung thought.

It was finally all over, yet it felt like the pain never left.
