"What do you even wear to a party, anyway?" Kenma asked, fumbling through the closet. "Help me, please."

Akaashi laughed. "You are acting like you have never been to a party before."

"Bold of you to assume that I have. However, I have been to birthday parties," Kenma paused. "But they've all been my own."

He furrowed his brows. "Why is that?"

"Because I don't like parties—Akaashi, please help me!"

Akaashi rolled off his bed and headed to the closet. "Fine. All you need to do is to just find nice clothes."

Kenma looked at him, then at the mountains of clothes piled around him. "I'm trying."

"I could lend you some of my own, perhaps?" Akaashi offered. "I have a couple of dress shirts here somewhere..."

"Nah, man," Kenma got up. "Even though you look like a straight up model everywhere you go, I can't cop your style."

Akaashi laughed. "Well, okay. I suppose we will just have to find something else for you."

"Thank you," Kenma fell on his bed. "This is going take forever, I just know it is."

"With that attitude it is," Akaashi shook his head.

Despite Akaashi's efforts, it did take forever to find clothes for him. Everything he picked out only received a groan as an answer.

"How about this one?" Akaashi held up a plain white button-up shirt.

Kenma muttered, "I guess."

"Here, put it on," Akaashi got up. "I am going to get dressed, and we will do something about your hair before we leave."

"What's wrong with my hair?"

As a response, Akaashi left the room and made his way to the bathroom down the hall.

Now Kenma was just left alone with his thoughts. Although they were his, they were only about one other person in particular—but Kenma didn't want to admit who it was.

It's not that he was ashamed of having a crush on Kuroo or anything, but he was just really shy. When he was in grade school, he started to like this one cute boy in his class. His mom asked what girl he was making flower crowns for every day, and he was too shy to admit it was a boy.

She figured it out on her own, however. Her son had way too many posters of boy bands on his wall, listened to too many musicals, and turned pink whenever they passed attractive boys at the store.

But Kenma liking boys made his mother love him no less. After all, he is still her beautiful, emo son.

Kenma got up and put his shirt on. It was wasn't much, but it was the best he had. He really wanted to look good today, so maybe a certain someone could give him another compliment.

Not that he liked him or anything.

"I see you found something!" Akaashi walked into the room. "Now let us hurry and do your hair."

~~~
"Hey Bokuto can you read number 23 for the class?" Kuroo asked, smirking.
"No I cannot," Bokuto whipped his head around. "What up? I'm Bokuto, I'm 19, and I never fucking learned how to read!"
While the boys highfived each other, Oikawa just facepalmed. "Quote one more vine and I will get my Iwa~chan to punch you."
"I will," Iwaizumi said, putting his arm around Oikawa. "Don't test me."
"Whatever," Kuroo said. "How do you think this looks?" He looked at himself in the closet mirror, unsure about what he saw. He had a simple brown cardigan over a gray, patterned t-shirt.
"Hmm," Oikawa answered. "Change the jeans to black pants. You look hella gay, too"
"I second that," Bokuto laughed.
Kuroo smiled and pushed up his glasses. "That's the look I'm going for, honey."
He hoped that he looked nice for Kenma. If you couldn't tell already, Kuroo fell for the guy—hard. He wasn't trying to hide his feelings either—flirting with Kenma while they're in the cafeteria two days ago made it pretty obvious. He was a confident gay—nothing more, nothing less.
"What about you, Bokuto?" Iwaizumi began. "Don't you like that one Akaashi kid?"
"HEY HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT?!" Bokuto whimpered. "I ONLY TOLD OIKAWA AND KUROO ABOUT IT!"
"Relax, nobody told me," He laughed. "I can just tell by the way you talk about him. You get stars in your eyes and smile wider than you usually do."
"Sh-shut up!"
"Don't get mad, I do the same thing when I talk about this beauty right here." Iwaizumi said, clutching Oikawa tighter.
"Awwww is that true, Iwa-chan?" Oikawa cooed.
"Yes, but I'll punch you in the face if you tell anybody that," Iwaizumi cooed right back, pecking him on the cheek.
Kuroo laughed and turned to the group. "Alright gays, we gotta decorate the house before everyone gets here."
"Let's go! Party starts in an hour!" Bokuto yelled.
"Let's go!" Everyone else yelled in unison.
For the next hour, the boys, along with the rest of the boy in their fraternity, set up a DJ booth, karaoke booth, drinks—Oikawa managed to get his hands on a few — and snacks —this time it was Bokuto who interfered—, and they somehow got a disco ball to hang up in the kitchen.
"Good work, bros," Bokuto announced, standing on the coffee table. "We are really gonna have the par-tay of the centur-ay."
The frat boys facepalmed. Kuroo and Iwaizumi booed. Oikawa cried.
"Shut up! Anyway—thanks for your hard work, let's rock this campus!"
"Much better," They all agreed.
Hmmm, Kuroo wondered, I wonder when everyone will get here...
Ding dong.
