A/N: this picture makes my ovaries explode btw

You were red,
and you liked me
because I was blue.
And when you touched me
suddenly I was a lilac sky
then you decided purple,
just wasn't for you.

Luke's POV
"You do know staring at yourself in the mirror isn't going to change your face mate," Michael commented.

"Has my forehead always been this big," I turned around.

"Why the fuck would I know if your forehead was big or not?" Calum replied looking up from his phone.

"Texting Emma?" I teased.

He laughed, "oh please. I haven't seen her in ages. You think Isabelle hates you? Man I'll be lucky if I'm in one piece by the time Emma leaves," he shuddered.

"Oh Emma. I miss her," Michael sighed a smile on his face. Ashton walked in the room, hitting my stomach.

"Seems you've gone soft. Hopefully Isabelle isn't expecting the same abs you used to have- hey!" Ashton exclaimed after I whacked him on the back of his head. "Who knows. She might still have a baby body-" Ashton started but Michael burst out laughing.

"Did you not see her in those jeans? Pshhh when Luke wasn't looking at his daughter he was watching her ass in those jeans because god damn- OW!" Michael yelped after Ashton hit him. But my cheeks were bright red. He wasn't wrong. "Luke if you think you're gonna survive seeing her in a swim suit, I think you're delusional." It was the doorbell rang that rang making Ashton clap his hands together.

"Lets get this over with shall we?"

Isabella's POV
"I can't believe I fit into this," I whispered to Emma as we waited or them to open the door. Before she could respond Ashton stood there smiling.

"Welcome! Oh my god," his mouth dropped in shock at my no doubt beautiful best friend.

"Ashton it's so nice to see you," she smiled pushing past him, her cover up flowing behind her. Charlotte giggled and I smiled down at her, walking in with less of a grand entrance.

"I'll uh- lets go to the pool," Ashton said leading the way and Emma turned around to wink at me and I just shook my head. She had managed to be more beautiful since they had seen her. I was used to being invisible when I was next to Emma, I used to hate it. Back before Luke and I broke up, when people heard 5 seconds of summer they heard our names too. When Calum deserved Emma but Luke didn't deserve me. I was pretty sure, but Emma was... Emma was beautiful. People just didn't understand how Luke would choose me, and sometimes I didn't know either. I was so plain, no matter how much he reassured me, it was a always at the back of my mind.

I knew it wasn't ugly, I thought I was kinda pretty actually but compared to Emma it was like I was nothing. "Why hello my fellow assholes!" Emma called out waving brightly, "miss me?" She grinned and Michael, Luke, and especially Calum mouths dropped open in shock. They must've forgotten how much... well Emma she is. I followed behind her setting down my bag with pool supplies and Charlotte's things, setting Charlotte down on the same chair. I smiled as I unbuckled her seat and picked her up. She was wearing her favorite watermelon bathing suit, she bragged about it the whole way here. I walked up to Emma who was hugging Michael when I saw Luke's back. I quickly looked away, lord knows how I was going to be able to face him.

"You look so different in person Ashton! Wow those magazine covers really do add 10 pounds!" Emma teased, easily throwing her blonde hair over he shoulder.
