-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sara glanced to her right, she couldn't help but feel the nerves wreak havoc on her body and mind. She fiddled with the necklace that hung around her neck for what felt like the millionth time. She looked at herself in the mirror and thought about changing yet again. She couldn't believe how nervous she was but this time, hanging out with Chester, wasn't like it used to be. This time it was an official date. 'Oh god...this is really happening.' she thought, as she smoothed out her floral sleeveless top. It was a soft white with a red and pink floral print and she had paired it with light wash skinny jeans cuffed at her ankle. She fiddled with the anchor necklace that hung around her neck, a gift Chester had given her ten years ago that she treasured dearly. He had gotten it for her, with matching earrings and a ring which she wore, after he had gotten sober from drugs. It was a hard time but she stuck by him as everyone else in his life dropped like flies, except the guys in the band.

"Sara, I wouldn't have made it without you. You have been my rock, my anchor, my lifeline through all of this. This is for you....just my way of saying thank you." Chester said, a little shyly, as he handed her the black jewelry box. Sara just stared at it and him. She couldn't believe he bought her something like this. "Ches, I don't need a thank you gift. That's what friends are for." She said, as she sat down on his couch. Chester sat down next to her and grabbed her free hand. "Sara....please....let me give this to you. When I saw it I instantly thought of you and knew that I had to get it for you. Open it, you'll see why." His brown eyes bore into her and she smiled. "Ok..." She took a breath in as she opened it and saw the necklace with a rope wrapped anchor hanging from it. The earrings and ring were the same anchor and she felt the tears in her eyes. Chester saw the tears hit her arms and he leaned over, raising her face to his. He smiled softly at her and she sniffed, wiping her tears away."Ches...it's beautiful. Thank you."

Chester walked up to Sara's hotel room door, his nerves making him shake as he held a small wildflower bouquet. He hoped she wouldn't think it was lame that he did this. 'Oh shit...maybe I should go throw these away.' He thought as he stopped and turned to head back to his room.He heard a door creak open and he looked up and saw Anna walk out of her room dressed to kill. She saw him and smiled, "Hey Chester.Date night for you and Sara too?" He chuckled, "You sure Mike's going to let you leave the hotel? You look amazing." Anna blushed, tucked some hair behind her ear, "Um..I hope so! He owes me a night out. You look very handsome by the way. Are those for Sara? She'll love them." She pointed to the flowers in his hands. He felt himself relax a little, "Really? I was going to go throw them out cause I don't want her thinking I'm lame." He chuckled at how silly he sounded. Anna walked over and gave him a hug, "Ches, you'll be just fine. It's Sara. She will love the flowers, she'll think you look handsome and she will love whatever you guys do. Just relax, ok? Now go have some fun."

Sara jumped at the sound of knocking at her door. She knew it was Chester but she still looked through the peep hole to make sure. She saw him shuffle and place the flowers he had in his hands just right. She smiled, it was so cute to see him so nervous and she couldn't help but think of how hot he looked. She felt her cheeks warm and then she realized she had to answer the door. Sara slowly opened the door, "Hey." They both smiled at each other, not knowing what to say."I um, I went out and got these for you. I actually picked them from the wildflower area behind the hotel here. I hope they're ok." Chester said, his palms sweating and his heart racing. This was Sara, why was he so nervous? He was snapped out of his thoughts by Sara's voice.

"They are beautiful and perfect. Thank you." She took them from his hand and smelled them, her cheeks glowing a sweet pink as she did. Chester realized he never noticed that before about her. It made her all the more beautiful to him and he couldn't help but smile. She motioned for him to come in, she wanted to get the flowers into some water. He walked in and shut the door, his heart racing even faster. Sara went into the bathroom and filled a tall coffee mug she had gotten in the last city they were in. She placed the flowers into it and slowly fanned them out, making the arrangement look beautiful. He couldn't believe she loved the flowers that much, "Anna was right." He mumbled to himself, Sara looking at the flowers and then back at him."What did you say?" He shrugged, "Nothing, just thinking out loud. You ready to go?" She smiled, "Of course! So where are we going?" He hadn't told her where he was taking her but he knew she would love it..

"You'll see." Chester said to her, taking her hand in his, the electricity filling the room and both of them. Chester slowly pull Sara to him,the power pulling them together like two powerful magnets. Sara went to say something but was silenced by Chester's soft lips on hers. The kiss was quick but the emotion and hunger behind it wasn't lost on either of them. With that they turned and left her room, "Ok, spill it, where are we going?" Sara asked. Chester smiled at her, "We are going to a fierce battle!! A battle of...bowling!" Sara chuckled, "You're going down, Ches!!!" He smiled, this was going to be a great night, he just knew it.
