Draco woke with a jolt. All he could stress about was Hermione's pregnancy results. The intense moment repeating in his mind, over and over.
He then snapped back into reality and realized he was in a hospital bed. He could only make out his parent's faces next to him- leaving the other one a mystery.
The doctor walked in and came over to the bed.
"Good, you're awake," he said. "How are you feeling, Mr. Malfoy?"
He felt pressure inside his chest, almost as if a clamp was squeezing him. "I feel fine," he replied, slightly cringing in pain. His vision was still blurry and he made no effort to focus on his surroundings.
The doctor considered his answer for a moment. "Well then," he said. "It seems as if you suffered from a heart attack."
Draco was silent.
"You should be fine in a few weeks, just no stress whatsoever," the doctor warned. "It would also be helpful if you'd consider going to the gym and doing cardio-like activities," he suggested.
"Of course," Draco agreed. Exercise, he thought, would help keep his mind off of all his worries.
The doctor smiled in satisfaction. "I'd like to assign you to physical therapy then," he informed.
Draco nodded.
The doctor looked at both Draco's parents and motioned them to come outside with him. "Just to fill out some papers," he assured them.
As he watched his parents walk out of the room, he was beginning to get comfortable until he noticed the mystery being left with him. He then tried clearing his vision and made out long, dirty blonde hair.
Sighing, he sat up. "What are you doing here, Hermione?" he asked, staring at his toes.
Hermione bit her lip and ignored his question, deciding to go straight to the serious topic. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you," she apologized. "I was just- scared. I knew you didn't want the baby, so I came up with a solution. I've decided to get an abortion and act as if none of this had ever happened," she quickly admitted.
Draco immediately turned toward her. "Did you already get the abortion?!" he asked, frantic.
Hermione noticed a bit of anger and stepped back. "No, but I'm planning on setting up an appointment soon," she quietly replied, trying to ease him.
Relieved, he slowed down his heart beat, remembering what the doctor had told him about no stress whatsoever. And that would mean Hermione had to go. "I think you should leave," he insisted, looking away from her.
Hermione left the hospital, intending to return back to her hotel suite. Instead, she ended up in the parking lot of the women's clinic.
A/N- Guys, I'm super sorry I haven't been updating. School's almost starting so I have to return back into Asian mode. I shouldn't be the only one apologizing though. You haven't been voting and I'm quite disappointed, *sighs* I'd make more of an effort to update if you'd give my story a like (:
