I hid behind the brick pillar, watching from afar, gazing at all the people. If one person saw me I would be pushed to smile and conversate with them. I turned my head and relaxed against the pillar. Well, that only lasted for about 5 seconds because I was pulled from behind the pillar aggressively.

A small boy with tears glistening on his eyelashes looked at.my face with a deep pouted lip. "Please help me Storm. I have a crush on this girl but she only sees me as a friend, what do I do?" He asked eagerly while I ran my fingers over my bruising arm.She

I tapped my chin, then looked down at him with a smile. "I'm going to make an inference and guess your name is Marcus correct?" I asked and he nodded. I nodded thoughtfully. "I thought so. A girl came to me the other day, begging me for the same answer and your name and description came up. So I'll give you the same information I have her. You have to tell them how you feel, and if they don't reciprocate those feelings show them understanding. Don't ruin your relationship over another."

Marcus let a smile cross his lips and he jumped up and hugged me. "Thank you! Thank you!" He said and ran off, disappearing into the crowd of high schoolers. I ducked behind my safety pillar quickly, and sighed heavily.

A tall shadow stood over me and it cleared it's throat. I turned my head and looked at a tall boy who leaned against the pillar. "What do you know? The "Positive" girl is actual sighing negatively? " the boy said and smirked at me. I frowned, "Hi to you too Brent. " I said and poked his arm, turning away annoyed.

"Oh come on Stormie, don't be that way." He said and placed his arm on my shoulder. He placed his head on top of mine and I cringed. "You know you looooooove me." He said promptly and teased me. I tried to shrug him off, "Get off of me before some se-" a loud squeal interrupted me.

"OMG! THE HAPPY GIRL IS DATING BRENT!!!!!!" Some girl screamed and everyone turned there eyes on me and Brent. My face warmed as I quickly looked over the situation. I quickly let out a giggle and smiled. "Oh no sweetie. Brent and I aren't dating. I was comforting him because his girlfriend dumped him. It's really took a toll on his life." I said and pouted, and rubbed my hand on an astonished Brents back. The girl and everyone else sighed dreamly as if under a spell, then they turned away.

I shrugged of Brent and smirked up at him. "And that's how it's done. " I said and watched him stare at me, flabbergasted. I poked his face, "Now if you excuse me, I need to get to English for seniors." I said and headed to class.

"Sweetie? Are you okay?" A faint voice came from the other side of the door. I responded to the teacher and wiped away my tears clearing my throat, "I'm fine, just a little sick that's all." I said and waited for a response.

Time passed by, "okay sweetie." Then I heard the faint footsteps of her walking away. I ran my fingers through my dark red hair and dried my face. Adjusting my school uniform I stepped out of the bathroom and ran straight into a hard chest.

I ricocheted back into the hard restroom door. "Ow....." I groaned. The hard chest belonged to the one and only Brent. He laughed and gripped my hand and pulled me to my feet. He was about to make a stupid reply when he saw my red face.

He frowned, "Stormie, were you crying again?" He asked. These were the only times he was serious. I couldn't look him into the eyes for some reason. Perhaps it was the fact he would push for answers of why or even worse, comfort me.

He wrapped an arm over my shoulders and placed his baseball cap on my head. "We're going outside, and I know you burn easily. " he said. And I was thankful he switched the subject. He led me outside and we sat on the bleachers, watching the football team practice. We always had a free period together, but this year we had three free periods together.

My pale skin was hidden under his shadow and my jacket. We sat in silence until a group of cheerleaders ran up to us. They conversed among each other until they pushed a short cheerleader with Brown hair towards me.

The girl trembled before clearing her throat. "Hello. The cheer squad and I were wondering if you could show us some tumbles and flips. We all have seen you in the gymnasium and you always have the top marks on every sport. " she said and spoke in a rush.

I processed her words and tapped my chin. "I suppose that's okay, but we have to do it in the gym so make sure the mats are set out in time. I do like punctuality so if you want to see I recommend all of you arrive on time. We will go in 10 minutes so you can set up. Oh and Brent will be in there." I said and Brent and I stood up as we walked to the cafeteria.

We sat at a table, "Brent will you braid my hair?" I asked politely and he nodded. Brent has 6 sisters and his mother was a hairdresser so he knew how to do hair. He finished the last part of my braid and tied a ribbon he found in his pocket around the bottom.

I smiled a genuine smile at him, "okay now I have to change. Let's go to the gym. You'll be in charge of attendance. If any of them are late you do not let them in. " I said as we started walking.

I quickly changed and found the gym set up, and I only had two missing. I looked at the girls. "Okay let's start with hand springs." I said and demonstrated. The girls watched carefully, but there eyes soon always drifted to Brent.

I groaned, "I'm going to leave if you guys don't focus on me." I growled. They immediately focused on me. I demonstrated several things until I sat down and watched the girls. Brent soon sat down next to me and put a hand on my shoulder, "How you feeling?" He asked.

I looked at him, "Just another typical day in my shoes." I said and smiled and focused at the task at hand.
