you were cold, that was not okay.

"Jimin please do me a favour and take out the trash when you leave? I need to rush home, Mingyu's sick."

"Sure hyung," Jimin smiled as he watched Jinsoo run out of the café a few minutes before his shift ended.

Jimin tidied up the tables and mopped the place once. Then he checked if any mugs or crockery were left to wash, thankfully there weren't any. The blond boy dragged the black trash bag behind him through the backdoor and hoisted it into the public dustbin right outside. He glanced at the watch on his wrist and his eyes widened. The last bus home would leave in two minutes. He rushed as he grabbed his bag, locked the café and ran towards the bus stop as fast as his injured ankle could take him. His right ankle still wasn't fully healed. Jimin could see the bus stop and the bus as he turned the corner and he gasped. He ran faster but he was only halfway through when the bus left the stop, taking Jimin's last ride home along with it. Right when Jimin thought things couldn't get worse, it started raining cats and dogs. Harsh raindrops prickled his skin as Jimin rushed to seek the shelter of the bus stop. He was almost drenched by the time he slid inside the safety of the bus stop. Thunder boomed and Jimin saw a flash of lightning strike across the sky in violent purples and yellows. He flinched, covering his ears.

"Scared," he whined to himself, digging through his bag for his phone. He finally found it and was relieved. He could call Taehyung, or Jungkook. He could reach home soon. But the phone's screen remained black. Jimin frowned as he pressed the power button numerous times, finally giving up and sighing in exasperation. His phone had died. Jimin wanted to die.

"Why?" He yelled into the stormy night as a strong gust of wind blew his wet bangs onto his face. "Why? Why is the universe against me? Why?"

Another flash of lightning struck closer to Jimin's view and he entirely freaked out. The blond boy moved into the farthest corner of the bus stop and took a seat, hugging himself.

"Scared scared scared," the boy kept mumbling when he noticed a familiar bike stop in front of the bus stop and a familiar figure came running to him.

"Goodness Jimin," Jungkook muttered as Jimin went in for a hug. "You're drenched you idiot." He scolded, taking a blanket out of his bag and wrapping it around Jimin before removing his own raincoat and draping it over Jimin's shoulders. He pulled the hood of the raincoat over Jimin's head and frowned when he felt Jimin coming in for a hug again. That was when he noticed Jimin had his hands over his ears and was slightly shaking. Jungkook's heart warmed as he held the back of Jimin's head and encased the boy into the warmest hug he could give him.

"I know it's childish," Jimin muttered against his chest. "But I'm really scared of thunder and lightning."

Jungkook pulled back and kissed Jimin's forehead, wiping the droplets of water off his face. "It's not childish. Come, I got you."

Jungkook made Jimin sit in front of him as he rode the motorbike, his arms keeping Jimin from falling even when the latter fell asleep and slumped against his chest. Rather than taking Jimin home, he took Jimin to his own apartment and carried the boy since Jungkook didn't want to wake him up. When Jungkook walked in through the door, he felt Seokjin's glare penetrate him before those eyes shifted to Jimin and immediately turned concerned.

"You'll explain to me later why you ran out without any information and almost gave me a heart attack," Seokjin said as he pointed to Jungkook's bedroom. "Put him there first. I'll be right back."

Jungkook sighed as he removed the raincoat and put away Jimin's bag. Then he slowly prodded Jimin with a finger. The blond boy opened his eyes sleepily and glanced around.

"You're at my place," Jungkook said instantly, not wanting Jimin to panic. "Think you can dry yourself and change into the clothes I give you? You can go to sleep right after, okay love?"

Jimin nodded and Jungkook closed the door as he walked out of the room, already dying at the thought of Jimin wearing his clothes. Namjoon was sitting on the couch, a cup of warm tea placed on the coffee table in front of him and a blanket draped over his shoulders. He leaned over to pull out a tissue from the box next to him and sniffed, followed by three continuous sneezes. His forehead and cheeks were tinted red and his fingers trembled as he scribbled down notes. Jungkook had never seen Namjoon fall this sick. And the younger boy wondered how the elder one was studying in such a condition.

"Hyung," Jungkook spoke softly. "Go to sleep early. Don't stay up late tonight, please."

Namjoon gave a nod in agreement and Jungkook sighed. Seokjin exited the kitchen with a bowl of hot rice cake soup and moved towards Jungkook's bedroom. He opened the door and smiled softly at the sight of Jimin sleeping on the bed in Jungkook's clothes, which were too large for him.

"Minnie," Jin called out softly, handing Jimin the bowl when he sleepily sat upright and rubbed his eyes. "Have this and go back to sleep."

Jimin nodded sleepily in thanks and took the bowl, quietly sipping on the soup that soothed his throat as it went down. Seokjin then grabbed his cloak and pulled it on, the whole while shooting glances at his sick boyfriend. He grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder before walking over to Namjoon to check his temperature.

"It's gone down," he hummed in relief, stroking Namjoon's hair affectionately. "I left food in the microwave. Make sure you eat it. You too Jungkook." Seokjin left a lingering kiss on Namjoon's cheek before leaving.

"Should I heat up the food for you?" Jungkook offered but Namjoon shook his head.

"Don't worry I'll have it. Go check on Jimin."

Jungkook walked into his bedroom and smiled at the sight of Jimin blowing on a spoonful of soup. The sound of the door shutting made the blond boy look up at Jungkook with slightly wide eyes.

"You're still wet," Jimin called Jungkook over and patted the space in front of him. Jungkook obeyed and sat on the bed, back facing Jimin while the latter picked up the discarded towel he had used to dry Jungkook's hair.

Jungkook smiled when he felt Jimin finish and remove his hands from his hair. Then he turned around and gave the blond boy a short peck. Jimin looked startled but he giggled anyway, hand coming to cover his mouth. Jungkook averted his gaze and bit his lip as a smile formed on his face.

"You came at the right time," Jimin muttered as he drank the last spoon of the soup and turned to face Jungkook. "I- You- How?"

Jungkook shifted Jimin and lay down, pulling the latter along with him into a cuddle. His lips pressed down on the skin right below Jimin's earlobe, warm breath tickling the soft skin.

"I just knew my baby was in trouble and needed me."
