Recap: "Claire, you really can't expect me to stay for this long. Rumor has it that he's coming into town, and my mom and I can't take those chances. Also, she has a new job offer and it could help with the money." I say with my face in my hands.
"Jesus. That bastard." She says, and rubs her temple.
"Um, lets just forget about everything for right now, and get this show on the road." I smirk

"I'm going to miss you so fucking much." Claire said for probably the millionth time.
"Babe, you know we are always going to FaceTime and shit. It wont even be like I left. Besides I wont be that far. I'll be in Oregon. We'll visit all the time." I said determinedly.
"Whatever bitch. I'm coming on holidays whether you like it or not." She smirks. I smile proudly at her.
"Ah, I've taught you well young grass hopper." She giggles. Her silly face went serious.
"Look, be careful. Please, I cant afford to lose you. You're all I got." She says with a blank face.
"You know if he does find me I'll kick his ass. You have nothing to worry about." I say with a sad smile.
"Tori! Trucks loaded lets go!" My mom calls from the drive way.
"Well, this is it." Claire says. "Don't replace me!" She giggles.
"I don't think that's possible." I respond.
"I already miss you." She says and reaches in for a hug. I hug her really hard till I feel like she needs some air.
"I love you." I tell her, which trust me wasn't easy.
"Love you too." She replies. I start walking over to my bike.
"I'll follow." I tell my mom. I slip my helmet on and zip up my leather jacket. I straddle my bike and turn the engine on. I look over to glance at Claire one last time. She waves sadly at me as my mom takes off. I wave back and follow shortly behind my mom.

"I'll have a stack of pancakes, some scrambled eggs, a side of hash browns, and bacon." I tell the waitress.
"Alright I'll be back with your food." The waitress assures, then sways off to the kitchen.
I turn my attention back at my mom who currently has a shocked look across her face. "What? The road makes you hungry." I defend.
"You're not going to be able to eat all that." Mom declares. I just stare at her and smirk. Challenge accepted.
"Here you are with your food" The waitress gives me three different plates with my food on it.
"Thanks." I dont even wait for her to leave before I start digging in.
"Honey, could you slow down people are starting to stare." My mom asks.
"They can mind their own damn business then." I say in between chews. My mom has a look of disgust on her face, but just rolls her eyes and shrugs it off.
I saw a couple of old people whispering with each other as they looked at me with disgust. One even pointed at me. And I'm the rude one? I showed my appreciation by pointing back with a different finger.
"Here's your check. I'll just leave it here," She sets it on the end of the table. My mom lays down a load of cash and she stands up.
"I think we gotta go," she said looking at the old people who were now talking to a worker and pointing at me. I roll my eyes and keep walking. As we walked towards the door we got various "Thanks for choosing iHop" and "How was your meal". We just smiled and nodded. Well at least my mom did.
