Standing before Minerva, she frowned. "Seriously?"Minerva ran a shaky hand through her raven hair.
"Y-yeah....""And you ran off."
Lucy looked at her long time friend with a dead look."Yeah..."
Lucy face-palmed, again.
Just awhile ago, Lucy came back from her mission with Sting and Lector and the second she entered the guild, Minerva called her up to her office. Said she needed advice on what to do.
So turns out, Rufus had asked her on a date, and you know what Minerva did? You know what she did? She said, "U-uh...I'll think...about it..." And she ran off.
Minerva had told her that she really, really wanted to go but her mouth decided to speak on its own. On. Its. Own.
What a nice day today, right? (A/N No its sunday today which means school tomorrow)
Lucy sighed, again. She looked up at the ceiling, tired from the train and from perverts on the way.
Minerva was on the verge of tears at this point, knowing she messed up big time. She let her head fall on her hard wood desk, sniffing.
It was a perfect day today, right? Right.
Minerva also told Lucy that her legs and feet were also moving on their own.
Ugh. Why Minerva...why?
"What should I do?" The raven haired mage asked, seriously not knowing what to do now.
She literally messed up a possible relationship with Rufus, possibly messed her friendship with him, and probably made everything awkward with him.
Lucy plopped on one of the chairs on the other side of Minerva's desk full of papers, staring at her bestfriend. She crossed her arms, thinking of a plan.
Yes! A plan. A plan that needed to be thought out thouroughly. Why? 'Cause why not?
A minute passed by in silence, Lucy groaning in exhaustion. She couldn't think of a plan. All she thought of was the same plan from yesterday. Making them fall ontop of each other and, you know, kiss. But that was...unoriginal.
The galaxy eyed girl crossed her legs, her right leg going over her left.
Lucy sighed for the third time that day.
"Um...you could just, I don't know, tell him you accept." She said after another moment of silence.Minerva looked up to look at Lucy. "But...isn't that too....simple?"
Lucy giggled. "I don't think it matters if you say it in a dramatic way or some sort," she smiled at her friend.
"Just let him know you accept and I'm sure it'll be fine."
She paused, putting a finger to her face and looking up, as if thinking. She looked back down.
"Besides, its better than not saying something at all."Minerva nodded. Lucy had a point. This was perfect. She was pretty tired from the panic and stress of her mistake so...
"You're right!" She exclaimed, sitting up strait. "It really doesn't matter if its extravegant or not!"
Lucy grinned. "Yup!"
Minerva stood up, hugging Lucy from the other side of the desk. "Thanks!"
-To Rufus-
"-And she ran away!" Rufus finished, going limp on the couch in his apartment.
Sting, Lector, Orga, Rouge and Frosh nodded, feeling pity for their friend.
The second Sting got to the apartment building where he lived and where Rufus coincidentally also lived, he was dragged here.
So, turns out, Rufus asked Minerva-san on a date and, to his unluckiness, she ran off saying, "...I'll think about it..."
They honestly felt bad for the blonde. Very bad.
Sting ran a tired hand through his blonde hair. He was tired from the mission, aswell as some perverts following them but it wasn't hard to get rid of them.
Sighing, Rouge opened his mouth to speak. "Rufus..."
Said boy turned to look at him.
"...just wait for her response. She said she would tell you, right?" Rouge said calmly, though he was confused with what to say. Rouge, and the boys, knew how Rufus was like whenever he'd get into a problem and not knowing what to say or do next. He would be in a slightly depressed and panicked mood. And it took long to revert to his usual calm self.
Rufus sighed, looking back up to stare at the plain white ceiling.
"But still..."
The blonde looked to his right, where his hat lay beside him. What was he going to do?
-
Yukino smiled, unsure of what to do.
When Lucy had suggested Minerva of just simply telling him, she agreed, but not long after, the ravenette started panicking about how she was going to say it and asked Yukino to come up for help.
Of course Yukino! She was dating Rouge now! So she'd know what to say! Definitely! But then she only started dating yesterday! But who cares!
The silverette sat across Lucy, who was staring off into space, trying to think of a way to calm the guild master. Yukino looked to a distressed Minerva pacing around behind the desk.
"What to say what to say what to say--!?" The raven haired girl kept muttering as she walked back and forth.Yukino chuckled nervously, scratching the back of her head.
"You know you could just...tell him...right?"Minerva stopped pacing and looked at the younger girl.
"But how do I say it?" She paced back and forth, once again.Yukino sighed. Minerva-san is being like Rufus-san whenever he panicks now. "Say: Rufus...I would love to go on a date with you. Then apolagize for running away! Simple, right?"
"Easier said than done." Minerva pouted, crossing her arms.
"But you haven't done it yet..." Yukino's statement was ignored.
The stack of papers on the desk nearly fell when Lucy's head fell on the hard wood in exhaustion.
The ravenette sighed, clossing her eyes.
"Seriously, Minerva. Just say it."Minerva bit on her lip. She honestly didn't know what to do...but at the same time she did. It was a simple task. Just. Say. Yes. Then apologize! See? Simple.
But she was scared. You know, what if he doesn't want to go out with her anymore because of that little run away stunt she did. Or maybe he hates her!
So much damn possibilities!
Minerva rubbed at her temples.
Why must such simple things sound so simple but in reality is very hard to do?
