I stood there. Silent. I was shaking. The most important person to me has just waltzed out of my life. Like it was nothing.
My throat burned. The tears wouldn't come. I was too shocked.
The jock table laughed and smiled as FP went and sat back down. Something inside me broke.
Hermione was staring at me, she was mouthing words but I couldn't understand because the tears blurred my eyes. I could see that she looked upset and sorry for me.
She tried to get up and comfort me, but Fred pulled her back down.
It hadn't sunk in, that something I treasured most had just ended.
I ran up the stairs into school and into the toilets. I locked a door of the same cubicle I go in when I'm upset. I sat there and cried. I hadn't done that for a long time.
Honestly, it felt like a bit of my heart was missing. To think he can just treat me like that, sucks. Maybe he wasn't as amazing as I thought.
The bell rang.
I can't show up like this. But I have to. Exams are coming up and I can't afford to miss lesson. I need to put on a brave face. I opened the cubicle and walked out.
Mary was stood at the sinks, facing away from me. This was the last thing I needed.
She looked up and saw my blotched face in the mirror.
'Oh. It's you.' she said.
'Mhm.'
'What happened. Not that I care or anything.' She was so stubborn. One of the things I hate about her.
'FP and I broke up.' I had to tell her. She would make something up otherwise.
'Well. Karma does her rounds.' She did a sarcastic smile and flicked the water off her hands. She grabbed her bag, swung the door open and walked out.
'For fucks same.' I said to myself. Can my life get any worse right now? It'll be Hermione next.
In fact, it wasn't.
As soon as I opened the door of the toilets a group of girls gave me a weird look.
I made sure I didn't have anything on my face before I walked out so I don't know why they gave me that look.
'Problem?' I asked them.
'No.' One girl said, as she was looking me up and down.
I rolled my eyes. Petty freshman girls.
As I walked down the corridor, people seemed to look and stare. Some even laughed. I had no clue what was going on.
I saw Hermione and she called me over. Luckily, she was by herself.
'Alice. Have you heard?'
'What now. Surely my day can't get any worse.'
She pulled out her phone.
'I think it just did.' She turned the phone around. On there, was a picture of some sort of paper. With messy handwriting. There was a list of girls names from my year and classes. With jocks names opposite them. On the right side of the paper, there were 'tasks'. With 'points' written next to it.
There were loads of girls names, but then I saw it. I saw my name.————————————————————————————————————————————

ALICE SMITH FP DATE AND +50
HOOK UP

I was shocked. He had used me this entire time. Just for some stupid jock book and some points? I actually thought we had something. All the things he said was fake. Everything he did for me was fake. Everything. Was. Fake.
'Are you okay?'
I went silent.
'Alice.'
'Hermione. Make sure Fred isn't using you just for this, okay?'
'You really think Fred would do that?' She was taken aback.
'Babe. I didn't think FP would ever do anything like that. Look what happened.'
'Fred was the one who showed me this. My name isn't in it.'
'Did Fred ever talk to you when you came? No. He is using you.'
She raised her voice, 'Just because your boyfriend used you, doesn't mean mine is using me. Please. Move out my way.' She barged into my shoulder and walked away.
Great. I'd lost another person.
