Chapter 5 Part 1: Two Souls

I crept slowly to my room and closed the door without making any miniscule sound. “Whew” I sighed.

Good thing nobody saw me

 

I almost leaped up from surprise as Jude yelled. “Kay! What the hell -- Where have you been?!

“Shhh – Not so loud” I whispered. She stared at me with an annoyed look on her face. I smiled at her as I reach through my backpack. “Hey, check this out~”

I tossed her 2 music cassette tapes and a big fat pizza bread. Her blue eyes grew.

“Whoah, where did you get these stuff?” She starred at the cassette tapes and took at big bite from the pizza bread. “Wii maight get in trubul fo tish” barely understandable as she spoke with food inside her mouth.

“Aww, just take it” I took a bit from the pizza bread on my hand.

“Thank you, Kay” She smiled

“No prob” I removed my bonnet and jacket. Then I suddenly saw something in on my bed. A figure with two big circular objects popping out, covered by the blanket.

“Um, Jude..?” I pointed at my bed. She looked at me and traced my finger pointing at my bed. “Oh, that… Well Mrs. Jean was around the hallway earlier and you weren’t around. So – I made a dummy of you, in case she enters our room” She beamed.

“And those 2 big round things are supposed to be --?” Still pointing out my finger in disgust.

“Yer’ boobs.” Jude said with a mischievous smile on her face.

I looked at my chest “Okay, my boobs are not that big.”

“They’re still developing.” Smirked Jude.

I laughed as I removed those ‘things’ off my bed and placed my backpack beside the tiny table. “Now seriously” asked Jude “Where did you get these?” Raising the cassette tapes and the half-eaten pizza bread.

I chuckled and gave her a wink “Secret”

If you’re wondering what happened to Millhouse, today. Well it’s a giant caged slaughterhouse for humans.

It was one normal afternoon, then you hear a loud ‘boom’, explosions and gunfire broke and before you know it, the Mutes are in.

Some people claimed that the Mute’s attack was led by a ‘leader’. A black humanoid figure appeared in the Safe Zone’s protected walls before the wave of Mutes arrived.

 

Crazy. People believe in almost anything these days. 3/5th of the population in Millhouse has been safely evacuated to a new location. I was transported here on Wallace, Safe Zone controlled by the Black Ravens. Here, everyone is required to undergo Military Training. I learned how to use a gun and fight hand-to-hand or with specific weapons.

 

The instructors told us that these days, innocence is weakness and everyone must mature as soon as they hit the age of 8, and will be signed into Military Training up until 16. And become a good soldier just like everyone else.
