im siting in the hospital bed with my phone clutched to my hand

and im waiting

waiting for something that's probably not going to happen

so I place my phone on the small desk next to the bed and close my eyes

'i knew it'' I think to myself

i knew it wasn't real

but before i can think of anything else, my cell phone buzzes
