i turned to face the voice.

"choi jiyoon?" the nurse repeated.

"what," I said emotionless, not caring about how ugly I must've looked with all of my tears.

"I'm really sorry about your loss, but the patient left this for you," 

"w-what?" i got up to face the nurse.

there was a letter in her hand.

i quickly took the letter and ran out of the room.

and headed to the rooftop.
