Pt.4

[Morning] 

I headed out to the cafe for breakfast, the others were still asleep. On my way out of the dorms I bumped into Changsun, he looked different than yesterday - as in his expression was more focused, more angry and more blank. He looked like he was concentrating on something. 

I was walking behind him and heading to the cafe, for some reason he was going the same way as me. He stopped and so did I, he looked to the right and then continued walking, so did I, I didn't want to bump into him or communicate with him. He was acting very suspicious, once I noticed he entered the cafe I was going, I debated on whether I should go in or not. Instead, I leaned against the wall and peeked inside to see him approaching a table where a man sat, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small knife, I watched as how he pressed it to the mans throat and pulled him up off the chair. The man kicked over the table in and chairs, trying to get away from him. 'Shit...I've walked right into this..' I thought as I tried to see what else Changsun was doing, but all I could see was the man being held down onto the ground with Changsun holding the knife to his throat. 

I pushed the door open a little bit so I could eavesdrop on what they was saying, it only crept me out even more. 

"Tell me, why did you kill all those women and sell their limbs, huh?" Changsun pressed the blade to the mans throat, he coughed lightly as he looked up at Changsun. "For sport? For a reason?" Changsun continued, "I...I did it for sport..It was fun." The other male responded, "Sicko.." Changsun commented, "Oh please...You was all over the news...About how you murdered that woman and her boyfriend, yet you're not a sicko?" The man answered back, but Changsun chuckled and pressed the blade harder against his skin, in his free hand he was typing something, he pulled the phone up and spoke, "I got him, come now." Then he hung up, a car pulled up and a man stepped out of it. 

He had a police badge on and he walked in my direction, 'So Changsun is telling the truth...Hmm, never thought a criminal could be so honest.'  I stepped aside for the man to get in, he smiled at me then rushed in to grab the man out of Changsuns blade hold, Changsun tucked his blade away and nodded to the police man. I eavesdropped some more and chuckled slightly, "Thank you for your help, Shin Changsun. As I promised...You're free to go." He dragged the man out of the cafe and left Changsun in there, I grew some confidence and walked inside. "Did you enjoy the show?" Changsun asked and that made me freeze in my spot. "W-What? What show?" I tried to play dumb, but he stepped to me and I leaned back a bit. 

"Quit the dumb act, I saw you from the corner of my eye. You were being obvious that you were watching, I mean....Peeking your whole head out and holding the glass door open, that wasn't obvious at all.." I hinted sarcasm in his tone of voice but it made me chuckle. "Ah, I guess I got a a bit nosy. I am sorry." I cautiously stepped towards the counter where workers who were terrified of what just happened stood, "I'd like to order two coffees please." I looked to the woman and then towards Changsun who was slowly making his way towards me, I felt my heart beating fast. 'Goodbye world, I think today is the last day I live...'  I watched him as he got near me, he stopped when his shoulder brushed against mine, which only made my heart beat even faster. 

"Is one for me?" He asked, "Yes, I'd...I'd like to talk to you, if that is okay?" I looked away from him, afraid of his answer. "You want to talk to me? Wouldn't your friend be angry about that?" He asked, "You mean, your brother and....No, I don't think so." I watched the woman prepare the two coffees, my fingers tapping against the glass. "You're nervous to be around me yet you want to talk to me?" He questioned, "Huh?" I scrunched my nose a little bit, "You're tapping against the glass....You're nervous. Are you afraid I might hurt you?" He sounded a bit upset, which caught me off guard.
