Pt. 9

Wonhos pov

We arrived in Jeju Island by a private jet, we decided it'd be quicker for us to hire a private jet. They're faster and smaller, easier to travel in. I couldn't stop thinking about Changsun, is he okay? Is he awake? Is he alive?....

I fidgeted with my fingers as I nervously sat there, "He'll be okay, Hoseok..." Shownu tried to comfort me, his hand patting into my leg. "How do we know if he is or not? He could be...." Minhyuk couldn't finish his sentence from where he got too choked up, his red eyes staring down at the ground, they were red from crying for hours. I scrolled through my phone to see if there was any updates about him or the plane crash, fortunately there was. "The plane is still there and still burning, it's been hard for the firemen to put it out, such a big plane. As for the survivors they are inside getting treated and being helped, I doubt they'll want to get on a plane for a while...As for Shin Changsun, we've received news that he arrived at hospital safely, he got hit by a large piece of the planes alluminium body, his back is burnt and his front is scratched from where he fell, it'll take him a while to recover. We hope he recovers well and thank you for listening." The news anchor said, I looked out the window to see us slowly going down to land, to the right was Kihyun and his mouth gapped open, "It's right there..." He said, pointing his index to the window.

I stood up and ignored the bumps from landing, rushing over to Kihyun to see the plane that had flames emitting from it, the firemen trying their hardest to put it out. I saw a bit of the plane that was closer to us as we went by, it had a bit of blood on and I thought 'Changsun...' I held back my tears and just stared out the window, 'Why did it have to be him out of all people? Did he try to be a hero?' I sat down in my seat and took a deep breath.

We was finally off of the plane and out of the airport, I just wanted to get to the hospital to get to my brother. I wanted to see him.

We arrived outside his door, my hand shook as I grabbed hold of the door handle until it opened and revealed a nurse, I managed to sneak a peek inside and I saw him sitting up, his mouth was open and it looked like he was silently screaming, I grit my teeth and felt my heart pound against my chest. "Oh, are you his brother and friends?" The nurse said, "Well, I know for sure that Wonho is his twin, the looks give it away." I.M said sarcastically, the woman coughed lightly and slowly nodded. "You'll have to wait a few minutes, the doctor is bandaging up his back..." The nurse smiled before walking away, I stepped back and pressed my back against the wall.

"Sir! Sir! Calm down!" The doctor said loud and panickingly, I wanted to go in there but I couldn't.

Minhyuks pov

I can't wait no more....
I rushed towards the door and opened it, stepping in as soon as I could, the others rushed behind me to stop me but they froze, I stared at the doctor who had just finished bandaging Changsun up. He looked over to us and smiled, "Ah, you must be his friends he was telling me about." The doctor coughed lightly and stepped around the bed until he stood behind Changsun, "Come in, come in..." He said and pulled Changsuns top down, I walked in with Wonho beside me.

I held onto his hand and felt him shaking, we both reached the bed and Changsun turned his head to us, he has scratches along his cheek, jaw, eyebrow, forehead, neck, shoulder and probably a lot more under his shirt. My heart begun to beat quickly, the worry I held in coming out, "Changsun, are you okay!? I'm so sorry this happened to you! Why did you have to come here...? You could of stayed with us! We didn't mind! We enjoyed you there with us!" I yelled out of worry, I waited for him to respond but he didn't even open his mouth.

"Ah...He is unable to talk, he hurt his throat pretty badly when he got hit and fell, though...It is a temporary thing. He will be able to talk when it is all healed up, he tried but nothing came out.." The doctor explained, his smile fading as he pressed his lips together, looking over at Changsun with pity.
