I turned around and I found Krista.

"Krista, I don't want any trouble." I said calmly.

"That's too bad, cause I do." She smirked.

"Jimmy and I were happy! Till you came along. We dated for 5 months." She said.

"That isn't my problem." I retorted calmly.

"It's your fault. All your fault. You know, you can die in the afterlife." She smirked.

She held a knife in her hand and my eyes widened.

"With you out of the way, Jimmy and I will be happy again." She said crazily.

She started walking towards me and I backed up. Maybe, if I ran, she would chase me. I could lead her to the government building.

I started running and I heard her chase after me.

"You can't run from me, Amber." She laughed.

I ran faster and she appeared in front of me. I turned around and darted towards my house.

"Run as fast as you can Amber. The chase is thrilling." She shouted.

"Help!" I yelled once I clearly saw my house.

I felt my hair being pulled back and I yelped.

I fell on the ground and Krista stood before me. She had a crazy look in her eyes.

"This goodbye Amber." Krista smirked.

I wasn't going down without a fight.

I kicked her in the stomach and she fell down beside me. I got up and I stood over her.

"Oh come on Krista. You love the chase. So, you must love the fight more." I looked down at her.

I heard a door open and she kicked me. I fell down and groaned.

I felt a kick on my stomach and a punch in the face. I tried to put my hands up and fight back.

I opened my eyes enough to see Krista pull me up. I saw Jimmy and Clark run and shout. I couldn't hear anything.

Before I could respond, Krista shoved me down on the street making my head bounce off the pavement.

I saw Jimmy pull Krista back and Clark kneeling in front of me. He was saying something but I couldn't make it out.

I felt my eyes droop and I tried to open them but they kept closing.

"I'm sorry." I managed to say before I blacked out.
