~Amber~
2 months later...
"What do you call a person with a mustache?" Jimmy asked me.
"Ummm, I don't know..." I trailed.
"I don't know either." Jimmy said and I looked at him.
"What was the point of the joke then?" I chuckled.
"I said I mustache you a question. And I did." He smirked and I squinted at him.
"You are an interesting individual." I commented.
"Why thank you my dear sister of mine."
It has been two months and things are going well. We are at my house which is finished. Oh! I recovered very quickly.
The magical workings of the undead I tell you.
And if you are wondering, me and Clark are not dating.
I know you guys are like WHY and I WILL CUT YOU IF YOU GUYS ARE NOT TOGETHER IN 40 SECONDS.
We just wanna take things slow. Clark wants me to get back in the hang of things. Like my job and the new house.
We are still talking though. And cuddling. And maybe some lip action here and there. XD
"I'm home!" Clark walked through the door.
"This is my house, not yours." I teased.
"Not yet." Clark smirked and I raised my eyebrows.
"No." I stated and they both laughed.
I started to get this headache. I held my head and winced.
"Amber?" Jimmy looked concerned.
I looked up at Jimmy and I got up. I felt dizzy and I held onto Jimmy for support.
"My head." Was all I said and Jimmy nodded.
"I'll get you your pain medicine." He stated.
I have this pain medication that I have to take if I get headaches. But, this headache was different.
It's weird, every time I had this headache, one of my friends are hurt in some way........
"I don't need one." I whispered.
What if one of my friends are hurt? I can't help them at all.
"What was that?" Jimmy turned around.
"I said I don't need one." I sail louder this time and I got a text that made my worst nightmare come true.
From Unknown:
Sara Conners
Age: 16
4242 Loikes Drive
Location: Afterlife.
A tear slipped out of my eye. My best friend.
"It can't be." I whispered while looking at my phone.
"What Amber?" Clark asked.
"I have to go. Stay here if you want." I said to the both of them and got up.
I put a light jacket on and I apparated to Sara's house. I have been in this house millions of times. Now I'm here for all the wrong reasons.
I walked through the front door and I looked around. Everything looked the same. A picture of me was up on the wall.
I was always close with Sara's family. Her mother was there for me when my mom was out at work or busy. I shook my head and I walked around the house.
So far, so good. I went to the kitchen I saw Sara's mother crying. She was on the floor with her head in her hands.
Tears built in my eyes and I blinked them away. I walked away before I could do anything. I went up to Sara's room. I saw her in a bed. She looked so peaceful.
Everything indicated that she died in her sleep. Sara always had heart trouble. Her family was told that she would not live a full life, but she would go peacefully.
Sara told me about her problem two years ago. I cried thinking that she could die any day. Turns out I died right before her.
I saw a ghost Sara looking at her body.
"I'm free." She spoke.
"Yes, you are." I said and she turned around and gasped.
"Amber?" She questioned and squinted her eyes.
"It's me Sara." I confirmed and she immediately hugged me.
I let the tears flow freely. I hugged her tightly back and I sobbed into her neck. She did the same to me and we stood there like that for what seemed like forever.
But it was only a couple of minutes. I let go of her and looked at her.
"Welcome to the Afterlife, Sara." I smiled.
