I was nice to get away for a bit. I didn't know what exactly I was getting away from. But it was nice. The chirps of crickets and the hooting of owls were somehow pleasant to listen to, yet distracting at the same time.

The only sound that could be heard was the soft patter of my footsteps echoing across the night. The slap of sneakers and the occasional sigh from my mouth was the only thing that was heard.

The sky was, surprisingly, filled with stars. The usual black sky, filled with pollution, was dotted with sparkles and glints of faraway planets. The streets were silent, the roads were empty and I was lost again. But that really isn't such a change.

I sneezed. Absentmindedly rubbing my nose, I couldn't help but wonder...

where on Earth am I going?

I was roaming the streets without any destination in mind. I was quite dark and frankly, quite sketchy. If someone jumped out at me from a dark alley with an All Might mask on asking me, "Hey, kid you want some crackers?" I wouldn't be surprised.

I walked down long roads and just turned whenever I felt it was necessary and I ended up in a park I had never seen before.

The colours were drained away from the swings and they became merely a shell of the fun swings from our memories. There was no sound other than the crickets, no birdsong or baying dogs. Every rustle of the leaves made me perk up, and even the sound of a twig snap beneath my feet made my pulse loud and vibrant in my ears.

It looked like a place where someone would get murdered or it was haunted...

I walked in.

Stuffing my hands in the scarf, I strolled down the park and hoped to catch a sight of anything supernatural or bizarre. What I didn't think I'd find is one of my classmates, sat on a bench, shivering from the cold.

At the other end of the park, I caught sight of flashy, familiar red hair and I couldn't help but walk a bit closer to see if it was real, or just my eyes playing tricks on me.

Todoroki was sat on a bench at the other end of the park. He was wearing a white T-shirt and he had blue shorts on with slippers on his feet. I watched him (not being creepy or anything) hugged himself a bit tighter as he sneezed and then rubbed his nose. Aww, that was cute.

I'm not being creepy or anything, I promise! He just looked like a lost kitten and I love cats- I really need to stop talking and trying to explain myself to no one in particular.

After a few seconds, I saw that he wasn't leaving. He was still sat there, doing nothing in particular. Maybe he didn't want to go home? I couldn't think of any other option because he looked like he was just waiting for time to pass.

Either way, it's not my problem, and I sure in hell wasn't going to go talk to him. I turned around and tried to as slowly as I can, to walk back the way I came but my feet wouldn't move.

It definitely wasn't because I was tried, I had much more stamina than that. Maybe what little conscious I had wouldn't let me leave him all alone in the park like this. Especially when he was shivering from the cold.

I stood there for a bit, one hand on my hip while the other was clutching my hair. My foot was tapping on the ground and I was sighing heavily. Was I really going to do this?

Haha, NOPE.

I forced my legs to move and wasn't paying attention to where I was going. Haha! Like I was going to go talk to him that's ridiculous!

I sat down next to him and sighed.

This is going to be such a long night.
