I stepped one foot into the cafeteria then decided otherwise, it was too crowded.

I wasn't really that hungry, anyway.

To be honest, I wasn't really anything at that moment. Just felt numb. Nothing excited me and nothing upset me. I was just surviving. Getting through the day. Waking up, not dying, then going back to what little sleep I can get. Simple.

I walked outside and it was very peaceful. Birds chirped, laughter filled the air, the wind carefully tossed my hair. I aimlessly walked around and didn't really think as to where I'm going until I eventually stopped in front of a huge cherry blossom tree that had yet to bloom.

I placed a hand against it and slowly sunk down at the base of the tree.

As much as I hated to admit it... I missed him. Izaya had come to stay with me yet it wasn't the same. After all, no one can replace anyone else in this world.

Oh, that was dramatic.

I pulled out a small notebook and began to write. Some stuff happened and I just really wanted to write it down. Maybe it's because I subconsciously wanted to just talk to Akki.

Bakagou: This kid honestly never shuts up. Like, I'll yawn and this genius will find something to say. The other day I threw some paper in the trash and he yelled, "Do us all a favour and just JUMP IN." Like boi, it's true but calm ya tits.

Pinwheel girl: I honestly have no idea what goes through her brain. She's the deputy, she got the spot so why doesn't she just leave me alone? Sometimes, I'll catch her staring at me or just watching me. She once glared at me then turned away looking like she was really proud of herself.

Freckled Broccoli: This child is growing and it's like he's warming up to the character development scene where he's all like, "I can't stay like this! I have to work harder." Yada yada yada... He's alright though.

Nervous cauliflower: He's really cute but hella suspicious like he always looks nervous but not in a normal way but because he blamed the cat for the shredding of toilet paper but it was really him. He looks guilty but- eh.

Pikapika: I complain about him a lot but I actually really like him. The other day, I noticed him trying to follow me home, so I walked into an alley and the dumbass followed me. I snuck up behind him and blew into his ear and he just screeched. He passed out, it was hilarious.

Half hot and cold pretty eyes:

I didn't know what to say about him, to be honest. I decided to leave it blank and... fill it in later, maybe, when I was in a clearer state of mine.

My writing was cut off by the blare of an obnoxious siren. It shattered the somewhat pleasant atmosphere and the mood seemed to flip upside down. Instead of laughter, screams were heard. Instead of the birds tweeting peacefully, the ear-shattering siren spoiled the day.

It's funny how a good day can turn into a bad in a split second. Literally a metaphor of my life.

I closed my eyes for a second before shutting the notebook and slowly getting up to my feet, groaning all the way. A student bumped into causing me, causing me to stagger.

"What are you doing? We have an intruder!" He seemed to scream.

An intruder: a person who intrudes, especially into a building with criminal intent. Keywords in that sentence: CRIMINAL INTENT. Was this finally my chance to fight with an actual villain?

I grabbed my bag and ran towards where all the sound was coming from and I ended up in front of the main entrance of the school and my god.

The gates were sealed shut with a huge metal door. It was spotted and freckled with red sirens and a crowd of people. I looked towards the school and saw that students were pressed up against the glass windows with a look of terror on their faces.
