Chapter Twenty Two- I think I'm a Horrible Person

I was staring at him in complete and utter shock. Todoroki was looking back and forth between before he finally spoke up, "This is 'Kana'? Do you know him? I thought he was a she! What is happening."

"I-I... I don't... I can't. Function. How do you breathe again?"

I didn't know what to say. I didn't know how to react. But I did know one thing. I knew that I knew him from somewhere but I couldn't seem to pinpoint it down. Oh shit, I could feel a headache coming on.

"I've missed you so much!"

Before I could fully catch up, 'Kana' was by my side in a flash and had his arms wrapped around my waist. I tensed up. Dude, I know, I know you from somewhere but I also feel like I just met you so no thank you.

"I'm so sorry it took this long to find you!! I was under mind control, you see, so I couldn't find you because my aunt is a controlling yandere little bitch but she's dead now. Some dude killed her. Whoever you are, fucking finally."

I was frozen. This sounded familiar. I knew who he was but I didn't at the same time. Todoroki pulled my arm and I awkwardly flopped against him, still trying to rack my brain as to where I've seen him before.

He narrowed his eyes, "You're making her uncomfortable. Who are you?"

"Yuzuhira Kanade. I would say nice to meet you, but that would be lying."

I shot up. It was so familiar. So, so familiar. But I decided to test him. Yes, it was a stupid idea but I needed to take my chances.

"How do you know me?"

He smirked, "Childhood best friends. Grew up together until.... graduation day."

"How did I get all these scars?"

"From fighting every day almost every day since the day we got our quirks." He chuckled and looked like he found this very funny.

"If you can answer this... I'll scream." I leaned is so I was directly staring at him. "What is my biggest fear?!"

He smirked and leaning further forward. "Ducks."

I threw my head back and screamed, "Oh my GOD, HE IS THE REAL DEAL. Before today only one other person knew! Well, I thought only one other person knew."

Todoroki laughed. I turned to look at him but cursed when I missed it. God damn it, I also saw him laughing but I missed it! "Scared of ducks? That's adorable."

"One duck is cute, but when a thousand of them chase you, it's war."

Kana's mood changed as his fake-ass smile turned into a very real scowl. Damn it, he is the only way I can remember, I can't piss him off! I cleared my throat and asked him a question only he would know.

"......When is my birthday?"

He looked a bit surprised that I asked such a stupid question and I awkwardly scratched the back of my neck, "What? I don't remember when it is and..... Akki throws a tantrum every year."

Todoroki placed a hand on my shoulder, "Do you recognise him?"

"I do. But it's also slightly disturbing that you KIDNAPPED us just to talk to me- oh shit I forgot about Gin."

"March 10th."

I groaned and rubbed my temples, "Yeah thanks for that. Damn, we must have been as thick as thieves if you remembered that after what? Eight years?"

Kana went and sat back up in this creepy chair. He was leaning on his hand and was smiling at us. Just smiling and observing. "Yup. We were always together and I think you subconsciously remember. Let me ask you this Ryuryu, when is my birthday?"
