After a twenty minute ride, Taehyung enters the hospital. He signs in at the counter and runs down the aisles. He dashes past Jin who's leaving the hospital at the moment. Jin turns around wondering who actually runs through the hospital at this time.
The moment he realizes that it's Taehyung he slightly smiles. It was just a matter of time until Taehyung would arrive. And now the time has come. Jin is glad that Taehyung realized that Jungkook needs him and that Jin isn't a replacement for Taehyung.
More like the opposite. Jungkook told Jin about Taehyung. And now it's time for them to talk to each other. Jin had his time with him and Jungkook helped him to fill his lack of memories. It's not like he's remembering but there are a few glimpses that flashed through his mind.
They were a couple. It's not surprising him because if he's honest Jungkook is totally his type but he's happy taken now. It's been not long but he's dating Namjoon, an elementary school teacher. He taught his little son in his first school year. His son is from his first arranged marriage with a woman. He was never in love with her but his parents expected kids from him and he wanted to make them proud. But after a few years, he wanted to be honest with his parents and to himself. He is gay and he knew it but to speak it out loud is different.
When Jin told Jungkook about this Jungkook was happy, happy that Jin could escape out of his marriage and stand up for himself. He's happy that he found love.
The two bonded really quick and they promised to meet up from time to time as long Jungkook lives with Taehyung and not in his stupid magic lamp. There were times that it took years someone rubbed that lamp and Jungkook was bored as hell and couldn't escape.
But it was the last day that Jin would stay here. He had to return home, work and Namjoon are waiting for him. But Taehyung would take care of him, he's sure and maybe Taehyung finds a way to make Jungkook stay. Who knows it's like this boy has also superpowers.
He's unique and went to hell to help Jungkook.
Jin is now at the entrance of the hospital waiting for a taxi that can drive him back to Deagu.
Meanwhile, Taehyung reaches Jungkook's door and swings it open without knocking. He runs in the room out of breath and searches the room for Jungkook. He's sitting in his bed and looks Taehyung in the eyes.
Taehyung exhales. Jungkook looks recovered and not as bad as a few days ago. He looks more than fine. He is handsome and his features make Taehyund drool over him. Jungkook smirks. 'Done with staring?' he asks mockingly. A smirk is plastered on his face and he slowly takes his blanket off him and stands up. Taehyung takes a few steps forward and reaches Jungkook. Small tears escaping his eyes and he engulfs Jungkook in a hug. 'I am so sorry' he sobs.
Jungkook is first stiff and doesn't know how to react but shortly after he relaxes and hugs Taehyung back, with all his might. 'Don't cry. It's fine, I'm fine.' He assures him but Taehyung shakes his head.
'I shouldn't have forced you to tell me about Jin or your past. I shouldn't have left you here days alone just with Jin. I should have been there for you. But I wasn't. I thought you just needed Jin so I stayed away from you. But no matter what, I can't. I need you Jungkook. ' Taehyung admits through sobs.
Jungkook breaks the hug and looks Taehyung deep in the eyes. 'Ahh Taehyung. Don't say that. I understand you. In your case, I would have been curious too. But I just couldn't tell you back then. But now I can. I know now that it's important to face your fears. Jin taught me the last days. Taehyung I hope tomorrow I can come back to your apartment and we can talk. I want to be your friend. Do you forgive me?' Jungkook asks sincerely. And Taehyung continues to sob.
He nods his head fast and embraces Jungkook for the second time. But this time he has this feeling in the pit of his stomach, like butterflies. It feels the same as the day Jungkook awake. But Jungkook can feel it too. His heartbeat increases and a warm feeling runs through his body.
'Come one let's sleep. It's too late for you to return home. We share my bed tonight. I think it has enough space' the genie suggests and Taehyung accepts the offer gladly.
And in a matter of seconds, his eyes fall shut. He's in Jungkooks arms. Jungkook is spooning him.
