Months later, Ciel and Draco were packing to head home for Christmas holiday. Dumbledore had left Ciel alone after what happened before, not even a glance was given to the Young Phantomhive. Sebastian had also become much more protective of Ciel as the months progressed.

"Say, Ciel?" Draco spoke up nervously, " What do you think the queen meant by the second Jack the Ripper?"Ciel sighed, gazing at his nervous friend.

"It means that this case has happened before but I'm not sure what happened during that case." Ciel glanced out the window, "Sebastian only groaned when I told him  about the case. I wonder why." Draco shrugged and kept packing his stuff. Draco was actually returning to Trancy manor for Christmas because he had some very boring family coming over, trying to unearth the mystery about the so sudden alliance between the Phantomhive and Trancy families.

"I must say, this Christmas will be so boring, I care not for old family visiting. I wanna spend Christmas with you, Phantomhive." Draco sighed and Ciel pulled his friend into a brotherly hug.

"I know your pain, Trancy. I wanna spend Christmas with you too. You're such a special friend to me. Which reminds me, will you be my best man for mine and Sebby's wedding?" Ciel asked smirking, knowing the answer immediately.

Draco gasped and shook Ciel grinning and fanboying. "Yes yes yes yes yes!" He laughed, his yelling attracting the attention of Claude who was reading in a seat on the other side of the room. "Thank you so much for asking, Phantomhive. I'll be your best man!"

Ciel sighed, putting a hand over his face. "You are so loud sometimes, Trancy." He glared at the young blonde, who chuckled and looked away. "Anyway, let's get to our last class of school." Draco nodded and turned to Claude.

"Claude, guard the common room as always, people hate spiders so it shouldn't be a problem." Draco smirked and Ciel gasped and muttered 'oh snap' under his breath. Claude seemed to ignore the insult and simply nodded. Ciel walked out of the common room and down the stairs into the main common room. He immediately saw Sebastian and hugged him.

"Good afternoon, Young Master. You're due in Charms in ten minutes, right? Don't get into mischief." Sebastian smirked and kissed his master's forehead. Ciel blushed and nodded.

Walking down the corridors, Ciel noticed that the corners of the school that had been lit up with flying candles were now shrouded in darkness again because of Dumbledore's last failed attempt of manipulation of the young Phantomhive. He glanced at the clock on the wall and sighed, he was gonna be late if he didn't pick up the pace. But why even try? All the teachers at this ridiculous school wanted him to be their little hope sign for a fake war against his own father. Why on Earth was something like this even happening? Ciel wanted a peaceful life as the Queen's Guard Dog and future husband to Sebastian Michaelis. It was only then did he recognize, he was alone. Draco hadn't followed him. "that little-" he mumbled before getting turned around and pulled into a soft kiss. Sebastian.

"Oh dear My Lord, you're quite the one to get lost aren't you?" Sebastian joked and Ciel rolled his eyes, "also, Lord, I am taking you and the young Earl Trancy home early because his family are ahead of schedule and will arrive at the manor in two hours so we really must hurry."

An hour later, after Claude and Sebastian carrying their masters to their individual manors along with their luggage, Ciel was sat in his study working on homework that he had been set for that holiday. Sebastian stood behind Ciel and watched him work, he had to admit that his master truly was handsome while he worked. He couldn't figure out why or how this had happened, he just remembered that his job was turned upside down when he met Ciel. Then a large bang interrupted the peaceful silence between the two. Bardroy had blown up the kitchen again. Sebastian sighed and left the room to go see how big the damage was.

When he reached the kitchen, he was shocked to see it all blackened with soot and so was the chef. "Now, how did this happen?" He asked, a threatening smile on his lips as he waited for the ex-military soldier to reply.

"I though' tha' if I used ma flamethrowe' I could cook the evening meal but obviously I was wrong, sorry Mr Sebastian sir, it shan't happen again." Bardroy frowned then fell flat on his arse as Sebastian pushed past him to cook. Sulking, Bard left to go help Finnian with the garden.

Just a few minutes after Sebastian left Ciel, his study went cold and the windows frosted over. Ciel shivered and looked up from his school work to see a dementor, Remus had taught about them a few weeks ago but now Ciel was witnessing one right in his study, he couldn't move. "Sebastian!" Ciel called as the dementor started to glide over to him. His happy feelings leaving him as he watched the dementor slowly reach out for him. Ciel passed out on his desk and the last thing he heard was the door open and someone run inside.

About three days later, Ciel awoke. He looked around and sat up, holding his head. "Sebastian..?" Ciel called into the darkness of the room and frowned when no one came to his door. Ciel laid back in bed frowning then, half an hour later, someone walked in. Tom Riddle.

"Good Afternoon, Ciel." He greeted with a fatherly smile and Ciel sat up, arms extended for a hug. Tom gladly hugged his son and continued, "You've been asleep for three days. Dementors really have a bad effect on you, don't they?" Ciel nodded then sighed.

"Where's Sebastian?" Ciel asked and Tom sighed, avoiding the question. "Dad." Ciel said sternly.

"He's.." Tom sighed then kissed Ciel's forehead, "He's speaking at the Ministry for you because of that dementor attack." Ciel nodded in understanding. "He'll be back soon."

Hours passed and Sebastian did return. Ciel saw he was back and ran to him and kissed him. "Sebastian! Why did it take so long?" Ciel demanded and Sebastian sighed.

"I apologize, young master. The minister demanded Dumbledore to come in and I'm sure you understand how that went down?" Sebastian explained and Ciel nodded in annoyance. "So I had to stay longer so you'd be clear of any charge."

"Thank you, Sebby." Ciel whispered and Sebastian smirked.

"Anytime, My Lord, anytime."
