In 2 days, Ada had shoved all of her clothes and belongings into a huge suitcase and zipped it up.
Warped Tour contacted them saying some bands need a Merch Girl and Photographer, and luckily Jenson was good at getting a decent photo. Ada just sticked to being a Merchandise Seller for some band called Of Mice & Men?
They were getting ready for their flight to New York, to show up at the first date of the tour where the band was playing.
Aparently Ada was lucky to put the application in because the band had just traveled back from Europe where they were playing at.
"Tina seems extra happy today." Jenson commented as she walked into the living room where Ada sat.
"Probably cause we are leaving." Ada muttered, looking up the band on YouTube.
"When is the flight again?" Jenson asked, and Ada rolled her eyes at her twin, swearing that she can never remember anything.
"At noon, we will stay in a hotel for the night and then the bus will pick us up."
"Oooh, we get to stay on a bus! This is so fun!" Jenson squealed and Ada rolled her eyes, once again.
"Come look at this." Ada told her sister and Jenson sat down next to her on the couch.
The laptop screen showed many music videos and interviews of what seemed a hardcore band.
She clicked on one of their newest music videos and the sound of a guitar riff played.
"At least their music is good." Jenson smiled.
"Decent, but not as good as Mumford & Sons." Ada replied. Mumford & Sons was like an addiction to Ada, she could listen to their songs on repeat for days and not get tired of their music.
"Whatever." Jenson rolled her eyes.
"Are you ready for the flight, we need to leave in..." Ada glanced at her watch, "30 minutes to beat traffic."
"Yes, you asked me this an hour ago." Jenson argued.
"And you weren't ready." Ada pushed, clicking on an interview, hoping that she'd learn the names of the members.
"Ooooh, he's hot!" Jenson pointed at the one sitting next to the viewer.
"Hi, I'm Austin Carlile and I yell for Of Mice & Men." He started talking to the camera. His figure was tall and you could tell he pushed way past 6 feet.
The other members of the band introduced themselves to the camera as well. There was Phil, Alan, Tino, and Aaron.
Ada thought to herself, it wouldn't be so bad with these guys, they seemed calm and collective.
"What if we get to party with them?" Jenson asked, eagerly. Ada's eyes widened and she shoved her sister on the shoulder.
"Jenson, you can not sleep with any of them. They are our bosses. If you do I will literally punch you in the throat and burn Peter." Ada threatened. Jenson's face paled.
"Not Peter! You ruthless person!" Jenson yelled and Ada smirked.
"Oh yeah, definitely Peter." Peter was a stuffed pelican that Jenson won at a school carnival in Junior Year. It basically became her life mascot.
Ada closed the laptop and shoved it into her carry on backpack for the airplane.
"We should probably pack up the car." Ada told Jenson, and Jenson nodded in reply. They carried their large suitcases down the flights of stairs to their beat up Honda Civic.
The old car was a P.O.S, but they really couldn't afford anything else.
After closing up the truck, they headed from Tina's apartment in Orange County to L.A.X., and just to say the least Traffic was hell.
"Oh god, we are completely late." Ada muttered as they pulled into the long term parking garage.
"Oh my god, Ada. We have like 45 minutes until the flight. Would you calm down, please?" Jenson pleaded, which responded a scoff from Ada.
Ada placed her car in the assigned parking spot, and grabbed her suitcase from the back; Jenson followed her actions.
It was a long, hot, walk from the garage to their terminal. As they got through security, they just made it before the doors closed.
"Oh shit, Ada! We got first class! This is soooo cool!" Jenson squealed like a child as they found their seats. The cool, light-brown leather was fancy and it reminded her of the therapist she saw as a teenager.
"Window seat, please. You pee every five minutes." Ada told Jenson as her twin went to sit down. Jenson sighed and moved over, letting her sister slide in next to the window.
The seats sat in two, and had enough leg room for a tray to fold up for laptops and food. When the flight attendant started speaking over the intercom, Ada followed the instructions while Jenson fooled around with the Cosmo magazine in her hands.
"Would you please listen, for once?" Ada complained at her sisters lack of guidance, once the flight attendant finished her speech.
"How do you buckle the seat belt, again?" Jenson joked at her sister and Ada's eyes rolled.
"Hardy Har Har."
...
Ada did not like flying. It was stressful and something Ada tried to avoid. The thought of the plane dropping out of the air was terrifying to her. She pulled out her laptop and headphones to keep her mind off of the paranoid thinking.
Taking complete advantage of the first class Wi-Fi; Ada looked up more about the band she was working for.
Watching the millions of interviews was getting addictive for Ada, she now knew that these boys were going to be a handful, but luckily, she'd be staying on the bus with the other stage crew.
"Thank God," Ada muttered. Her sister was soundly sleeping next to her and it made her wonder how Jenson did it with all of the noise the plane's jets made.
By the time of the flight, it was past bedtime for Ada and she couldn't wait to feel the plush comfort of the hotel room's bed.
A taxi took the brunette twins through the Buffalo, New York traffic to the hotel where they'd be staying for the night.
"I am so tired." Ada told Jenson and Jenson stared at her, bewildered.
"It's merely 8 o'clock, Ada!" Jenson exclaimed.
"Yes! I know! But you slept the whole entire time, unlike me! So, sue me for my tiredness!"
"Ugh, I'm going to the hotel bar when we get there." Jenson sighed.
"Remember the bus is picking us up at 6 A.M. because it's nearly an hour from here."
Jenson groaned at her sister's responsiblity. "It will fine. I've done it before."
Ada shook her head, but focused at the Taxi stopping at the hotel. It was a rather large building and the valet shook her attention away, by opening the door for her.
"The fare is 21.53 cents, ma'am." The driver told Ada, before she handed him the exact change and followed the Valet with the Luggage.
Ada checked in, and grabbed the room keys.
"I'm going to the bar, I'll see you later." Jenson told Ada, before heading the other direction; assuming where the bar was.
Ada rolled her eyes, and headed to her room.
Once she got to the suite, she stripped down to her birthday suit and filled the bath with warm, soapy water. It was relaxing, may she say to the least.
Hopefully this summer wasn't be too hard on her stress levels.
But, oh, was she wrong to think that.
It would be the complete opposite.
