Melanie's Pov

When I got up to our apartment. I was gonna go tell Parker about jack but I figured she was already asleep since the lights were off so I Just decided to go to sleep.

I woke up early today knowing that me and Parker are suppose to go look for jobs so that we have some money.

Before I go and take a shower and stuff I wanted to wake up Parker because she never wakes up on time so I wanted to get her up.

I got out of bed and left my room and stood in front of her door.

"Yo Parker get up we gotta get ready" I said through the door. No answer.

Usually when she doesn't answer she's in a deep sleep so I usually shake her.

I rolled my eyes and walked in wishing I didn't.

"Omg" i whispered not wanting to wake them up, quickly covering my eyes and running out closing the door behind me.

I literally just saw her and Ethan naked wtf. Gross.

I shook it off and went to take a shower.after the shower I put clothes on. Some that looked presentable, then brushed my teeth.

After that I put my hair into two French braids then grab my phone and headed towards the kitchen.

When I walked in the kitchen I saw Ethan shirtless.

Damn.

But he had joggers on so he wasn't completely naked.

He was going through our refrigerator.

"looking for something?" I said causing him to jump.

"Shit Mel you scared me" "oh sorry" i laughed

"So...what happened last night when you and Parker left" I asked.

"Nothing we just fell asleep"

"Well considering that I saw you both naked, I'm sure that's not the only thing that went on last night"

"You saw me naked?" "Yep, but it's not like theres was anything exciting" "Shut up"
"Hey I only speak the truth"

"So you look all dressed up why?" "Well me and Parker are supposed to go look for jobs today and like the responsible adult I am I know how to get up and not have sex with a guy I just met" "are you judging her" "no not at all I'm just saying"

"Mmhm" "whatever where is she?" "She's in the shower" "oh ok well I be back" "Wait I thought you guys were going together" "we leave at 11 I'm just going down to the cafe to get some food and a coffee" "can I come" "no" "please I'm hungry" "fine come on" I grabbed my key and we went to the elevator.

"Is that all?" The lady at the register asked.

"Yep" "ok that will be $16.49"  I grabbed my card from my wallet and swiped it. "Thank you, your food will be out shortly" I smiled at her and sat down next to Ethan who was looking at his phone "so on a real, how do you feel about Parker?" I asked out of nowhere which caused Ethan's head to pop up.

"I like her" " like a lot?" "Well I did just meet her and I already like her maybe we were meant to be for each other, you know one day we'll get married and have kids and grow old together and die together" " woah slow down I only asked if you liked her" "I'm just messing with you"

"So my brother, do you like him" he asked. "no not at all" "Why not?" "He's not really my type" "ok than what's you type?" "Ehh I don't know"

"Well I can help you out" "nah I'm not doing any blind dates" "well I could set you up with someone" "no thanks I'm good I wanna focus on school, boys are just going to distract me" "nah I don't think so" "i do"

"So you guys went to get food and didn't tell me or get me anything?" "Shut up we did" I said throwing the bag of food at her.

"Thank you" "Yeah Yeah, are you ready to go?" ""Yea doesn't it look like it?"  "Umm No it looks like your applying for an assistant for some boss, it just a part time job"  "I think she looks cute" "aww thanks Ethan" she went over to him and gave him a hug. 
"Omg Parker, remember when we use to read these books on that one app" "oh yeah what was it called again"

"Whatpad?" She said. "Ohh no it's was called Wattpad" "omg I remember we use to be on that all the time when we were younger, what made you think of that?" "When I said assistant" I said smirking. "Oh god I remember that one" " Yeah good times" I said walking off into the kitchen.

Ethan's Pov
"Ethan make sure to give this to Grayson I forgot to give it to him last night" she said whispering and handing me money. "ok but um don't you think this is wrong?" "No I want her to be happy and if it means I have to pay someone else to get her to be happy then so be it"

"Ok well don't come crying to me when Mel finds out" "she won't"

Melanie's Pov

What the hell. That's why Grayson has been asking me to do stuff and being nice.

She's been giving him money?

Wow and I thought he was just trying to be nice but I guess not. Wow.

I then walked back into the living room.

"So Ethan you should leave because we are gonna get ready to go"

I'm not gonna tell them I know what there up to just yet, I wanna do something first.

"Yeah your right I should get going" he said. "Bye E" Parker said. And he left.

"So how was last night" I asked Parker. "Fun" "nothing happened?" "Nah me and Ethan just came back and went to sleep and that's it" "oh ok cool cool" "we'll come on lets go"
