My pride, my ego, my needs, and my selfish ways
Caused a good strong woman like you to walk out my life
Now I never get to clean up the mess I made
And it hunts me every time I close my eyes~Jen's POV~
I glare up at my captors as I spit out the blood in my mouth."Tell is what we want to know." Growls guard one, the one who just punched me. I shake me head and smirk at the ground, letting out a creepy, humourless laugh.
"I'm not telling you anything." I say with a glare and inhuman snarl.
"We have ways of getting you to talk." Guard two says, smirking at me.
Three weeks later the second guard was swapped out with someone new. I recognized them from somewhere.
I sat with my hands bound, bits and bruises littering my skin, my head down as I breathed hard.
"Afternoon freak." Guard one, Hamble, says, pulling a knife out from his boot. I roll my head up to look him in the eyes.
"Is that the time Hammy?" I ask. The nickname I have given him that pisses him off to no end. It's worth it for the pain he's causing me. His glare hardens as he stares at me.
My stomach growls.
"Newbie." Hammy shouts at the new guy. I look at him with an eyebrow raised. Hammy hands him the blade in his hand. "Go to town on her." He says. The new guy looks at me with worry in his eyes.
"Shouldn't she heal or something before we do anything?" He asks. I recognize that voice from somewhere.
"Awe come one new guy." I groan, keeping eye contact with him. "Have a little fun. Let loose. All that pent up anger you don't even know is there, let in all out." I laugh then, a laugh only a crazy person could let out. He looks at me with worry and fear.
"Are you sure about this?" He asks the guard. Hammy laughs at his fear.
"Come on big boy," I say, licking my lips, "I don't bite, much." Someone runs through the door then, gasping for breath.
"Stay here." Hammy says, walking out the door and locking it behind him.
"Just us." I tease. The new guy looks me bead in the eye, and I can see the mischievous glint in his chocolate eyes.
"Good." He says in a way that makes me shiver. He cuts through the rope around my legs and wrists. Once they are off he stands before me. I rush to stand and catch him by surprise. My hand goes around his neck and I shove him against the stone wall. Once he's against the wall I tighten my hold so he's gasping for breath.
"Let's see the cute little face under that mask." I say, ripping the helmet off his head. The face that greets me is one I never thought I'd see again. I drop him then. He falls to his knees at my feet. "What are you doing here?" I growl at him. He stands, massaging his bruising neck.
"You have gotten stronger, Wolfie." He says. I growl at the nickname I haven't heart since Bryan was alive.
"I'm hungry." I tell him, bored of this conversation and ready to go get food. "Your friends made sure of that." I step away from him, crossing my arms over my chest.
"I actually came here to save you." He tells me, pulling the armour he wears off.
"Yes because I'm a damsel who needs to be saved by some prince." I send him a glare. He stands before me, wearing a large t-shirt and jeans. It would be so easy to sink my fangs into his neck and-
NO! Screams Nadia, my wolf. I growl at her silently.
"You sure look hungry." He says, placing a hand on my shoulder, causing sparks to shoot through my shoulder and Nadia to purr.
