/A/N/ Sad, emotionally wounded Kory. (Really Virgil Sanders from Thomas Sanders Sanders sides. But the right face.) Also, tag yourself as someone from the video, I'm the cat.

When you said you looked a mess
I whispered underneath my breath
But you heart it
Darling, you look perfect tonight

~Kory's POV~
Wren disappeared and I sighed. Sebastian helped Jen to her feet and walks her over to a bed. I turn my back to them and take a seat by the unlit fireplace. I go to work on starting a fire. Something to warm up the chill in the room.

Bryan comes over to me and grabs my hand. Without a word he pulls me out of the house. We walk to the hill behind the home, easily out of earshot of anyone. He drops my wrist as I stare at him.

"Stay away from Wren." He tells me. His back is still to me, fists clenched at his sides. A pang of jealousy strikes my heart.

"You can't tell me what to do. He's my soulmate, I will be with him as much as I want to be." I tell him, crossing my arms over my chest. He turns to look at me as he laughs evilly.

"You think he really loves you?" He snarls. "A pathetic boy like you who can't do anything without help." He takes a step towards me, one I take back to keep distance between the two of us. "He's a cold hearted assassin. He's Death!" The power in his voice startles me. "He would never care about a pathetic prince like you!" Tears sting my eyes. "You're too much trouble for him."

"You don't know anything about me!" I shout at him, tears falling down my cheeks.

"I don't need to, I know him." He growls.

"I'll be with whoever I want to be with!" I shout at him. Tears falling faster. "Wren doesn't love you anymore." I tell him. His fists clench harder and his knuckles start to turn white. "He hates you for the pain you caused him. He trusted you and you betrayed him." I don't see him raise his fist.

There's a searing pain in my jaw.

I feel the pebbles in the dirt cut through the palms of my hand.

Blood flowed from a scratch in my cheek.

"Shut your mouth!" He shouts as his boot collided with my stomach. He kicks me with full force over and over again. He grabs a fistful of my hair and pulls me up to my feet. Blood covers my chin. He pulls his fist back to punch me again and I close my eyes, preparing for the hit.

A hit that never comes.

I open my eyes to see Wren standing with his back to me. There is a woman draped over his shoulder. The both of them are covered in soot and track of smoke.

"W-Wren?" I stutter out, tears still falling from my eyes. He sets the woman down and I see it's the same face from the memory I saw.

The woman is his mother.

"What do you think your doing?" Wren growls at Bryan. Bryan steps up to him, but stops when he sees the look in Wren's eyes. He sounds like his father.

"You're mine." Bryan growls, his voice sounding more powerful then before.

"No I'm not." Wren tells him. "You had your chance with me and you broke my heart. I will not sit here and wait for you to want me when it's convenient for you." He tells him.

"It's all because of him!" Bryan charges at me, but Wren is still standing in front of me, his body a shield. The woman beside me starts to wake up. I look up to see Wren's fist against Bryan's chest. Bryan is clutching onto his shoulders.

"What happened to you?" Wren whispers. Sadness laced with his voice.

"My dragon," Bryan says simply, "it drove me crazy. After Samuel forced me to leave, knowing the masters plan for me, my dragon slowly started to eat away at my sanity. He hated being away from you, knowing the pain we caused." His voice breaks as tears fall down his face. He clutches onto Wren, crying into his chest.
