Hii!!!

This is the third chapter to "Lost In My Own Shadows", and I hope you like it, please vote and comment :D It would make me soooooooo happy!!!!!

Thanks :D

Just as I was about to wander off, a flash of white light blinded me, and a stairway appeared in from of me. It was just a plain staircase, but from where I was standing, it seemed to stretch on forever and ever, all the way up into the clouds. "Maybe... this is the stairway to heaven..." I thought, excited. "Maybe... I am going heaven!"

Eventhough I was filled with excitement, I told my self not set my hopes too high, its just going to get knocked down. I coudn't count with all my fingers how many times that has happened, everytime I told myself it would be great, someone or something let me down, badly.

I carefully walked up a few steps, it seemed to be quite steady, so I kept going, further and further away from the ground, all the way up into the clouds. As i ot higher, the air started to feel cooler, a gentle breeze brushing by me. For some reason, I didnt feel tired at all, my legs climbed steadily, one step at a time, until I couldnt contain my excitement, and bounded up 2 steps at once.

The top wasn't what I had expected at all, instead of a beautifully classic palace, filled with people, there was a golden gate, with elaborate designs, and nothing else. As I got closer, the gate swung open automatically, and I walked around aimlessly on the clouds until a women who seemed to be an angel took me by my hand and led me into a small building.

The angel had shoulder length red hair, small blue eyes and a pair of feathery white wings folded neatly over her white gown. The building was made of glass so that only the people on the inside could see out, but people outside couldnt see what they were doing inside.

As I entered the building, I felt aa blast of cool air hit my face, it was chilly, and I felt silly in my thin dress, wishing I had worn a big jacket to cover me up more. All the way, the angel remained silent, not even looking at me, just staring straight ahead. Finally, after what seemed like a zillion dizzying turns and corridors, we finally came to a stop in front of a large wooden door, lined with gold. Knocking on the door, the angel said the first words I've heard her say "I've brought her" Her voice was like millions of tinking bells, so melodic and soothing, but the words that came out of that charming voice was completely the opposite. What did she mean, she brought me? Who was the person on the other side of the door? Strange thoughts ran around in my head.

"Bring her in" A raspy voice said from the other side of the door, "bring her in".

The voice sounded strangely familiar, but I couldn't find a place for it. I didnt worry much, it was probably nothing, just a strangers voice.

But as the door opened, my heart stopped, my blood ran cold. Those holow eyes, I could never forget it, that night, when those eyes glared down at me. It was the old lady from before, the one with the axe, the one that took my life during that cold and bitter winter.

Please vote and comment :D the next parts going to be a bit wierd :D
