Emma's POV:

Our hangout wasn't anything special. We just got pizza and half an hour later Grayson and James joined us.

We talked about our trip to Las Vegas, Bryant's upcoming birthday and shit like that. It was really fun though, not gonna lie.

Right now I'm packing some of my clothes for the trip. We still have two days left, but knowing myself, I'm gonna procrastinate if I don't do it now and then be late.

This trip is going to be amazing and I can barely wait for it.

Ethan's buying a new car right now, I guess? He took my advice and said it's gonna be a roofless car or something like that and Grayson is helping him, so that's good.

These two buy random cars and houses and shit like they cost no money. Wish I could relate.

I have to pay my rent and electrical bills and etc, it's really frustrating and hard and difficult. I know I spend most of my time at theirs but I'm still an independent person and have my own house, you know?

As for what happened earlier...

I don't think I have feelings for Ethan. I think I was just too caught up in the moment. I think...

Nor I'm going to catch some for him. I'm going to just be left heartbroken because he won't feel the same. I'm sure. No one ever does.

I sigh and grab another crop top, fold it and put it neatly in the case. I have way too many crop tops. Well, I don't care.

I like it so I'm gonna wear it.

I stand up and put my hands on my hips, sighing as I look at the clothes on the floor. The whole room is such a mess. But when is it not?

Ethan's POV:

"So you're telling me that we lost the whole script?" I ask Grayson, my hands going up to my hair almost immediately after. "Like, everything we wrote for three months?!"

He just nods slightly.

"How did it even happen?"

"I don't know, it may be something because of my computer, I don't fucking know," he roams through folders on his laptop and clenches his jaw.

I let out a huff and lick the inside of my cheek.

"It's gone, bro," he leans back in his chair. I curse under my breath and rub my face. "It's not that big, I mean, I didn't even like the previous concept-"

"What do you mean you didn't like it?! You always told me it's good?"

"Yeah, I didn't want to hurt your feelings."

"You fu-"

"Listen," he stands up and faces me, "I have a better idea for a new concept, and it's gonna be even easier for us to write and act out. Just trust me."

I nod, "what is it?"

If this isn't the most boring thing then I don't know what it is
