"Jimin-ah, why did you bring Jungkook yesterday?"
"Because he had a lot to tell." Jimin said, avoiding eye contact with Yoongi.
"Don't lie to me, Jimin-ah. I hate it when people lie."
"I'm telling the truth."
"Jimin-ah, tell me the truth right now, unless you want to be punished." Yoongi roared.
"Don't," Jimin said, moving his hands out to protect himself. "Please, Hyung. Don't punish me."
"I won't," Yoongi said. "Not if you tell me the truth."
"I told you the truth, Hyung. Please, believe me. Don't punish me. Please, Hyung. Please," Jimin begged, sliding down on his knees in front of Yoongi.
"Liar!" Yoongi's hand came in contact with Jimin's cheek, making it sting from the hard hit. "Stop crying, Jimin. It won't help you. Only telling the truth will." Yoongi said, before planting another slap on Jimin's cheek.
"Please, Hyung. Listen to me. I-"
A scream escaped Jimin's mouth when Yoongi's hand slapped his cheek a third time. Surely leaving a bruise.
"Hyung-"
Another slap.
"Ple-"
Two slaps, in the same already swollen spot.
"Yoon-"
Another.
And another.
And another.
"Red," Jimin managed to whisper after Yoongi planted yet another slap on his cheek.
Yoongi stopped, all the color drained from his face. "What did you say?"
"Red." Jimin repeated his safe word.
Yoongi crouched down next to Jimin, his face a lot softer than moments before. He watched tears stream down Jimin's face. Tears that were there because of him.
"I'm sorry." Yoongi said. He really meant it. He had gone too far.
"I know you are." Jimin said, giving Yoongi a sad smile. "But you went too far."
Yoongi nodded. "I'm sorry, Jimin. I shouldn't have hit you."
"No, you shouldn't have. You shouldn't have hit me, Yoongi. I was quite clear that I didn't want you to hit me."
"I know. It was my mistake. But you lied to me. You aren't allowed to lie to me."
"What if I hadn't lied to you? What if that I had been telling the truth?"
"But you weren't telling the truth."
"What if I had? Would you have punished me because you didn't like the truth? Is that enough reason for you to hit me?"
"Of course not. It isn't enough reason. It shouldn't have been. I'm really sorry, Jimin," Yoongi said. "Was that why you brought Jungkook?" Yoongi asked after a bit of silence.
"Was what why?"
"Because you were afraid of being punished. Was that why you brought Jungkook? Because you were scared? Because you are scared of me?"
"I'm not scared of you, Hyung. Please don't think that. But yes, I was afraid of being punished. You've been very hard on me the last few days, Hyung. I was scared of how far you'd go if I did something wrong. And I thought that if I brought Jungkook along, you wouldn't do anything too harsh, because he was there."
"And you were right," Yoongi said, sounding a bit bitter. "I didn't do anything because Jungkook was there. And I didn't even notice it that I was being hard on you. I'm sorry. Please tell me if I'm too hard on you, Jimin. Promise me that you will."
"I promise."
