Forty two

As Taehyung placed the newly baked cookies on the table, he heard a knock on the door. He went to the door and opened it. The sight of his beloved boyfriend greeted him, along with his little sister. Jungkook was cradling Minya as if she was a baby. She looked very fragile in Jungkook's arms.

"Is she alright?" Taehyung asked his voice filled with worry.

"I think so," Jungkook said. "She's just really worn out. Probably hasn't eaten in a month or so."

"I finished making some cookies right before you arrived, maybe we can get her to eat something."

Taehyung went inside his apartment, Jungkook following right behind him. Jungkook lay Minya down on the sofa before sitting down on one of the chairs. Taehyung sat down next to Minya, placing her head into his lap, patting down her hair.

"Minya?" He spoke in a soft voice.

She stirred a bit but didn't open her eyes.

"I made cookies for you," he said.

"Tae?" She whispered.

"I''m here."

"I've been so scared." She started crying, curling into a ball next to Taehyung.

"You're safe now. There's no need to be afraid. I'll take care of you. You should get some sleep. We'll talk about it tomorrow."

She nodded, nuzzling further into Taehyung. After a few minutes har breathing became heavier and more regular.

"Thank you, Kookie," Taehyung said. "I don't know what I would have done without you."

"It's nothing."

"It's a lot. Thank you so much. I don't know how to repay you."

Jungkook sat down next to him. "It's okay, Tae. You don't have to do anything."

"I have to do something. You helped me get my sister back. Isn't there any way I can repay you?"

Jungkook smirked. "There might be one way." He pulled Taehyung into a kiss.

"Watch Moana with me." Jungkook said, smiling.

"No, Kookie. Anything but that."

Jungkook frowned. "But I want to watch Moana. Please, I helped you get your sister back."

"Okay," Taehyung said. "This one time. One time."

"Thank you!"
