My Best Friends a Dragon

Chapter 5

The dragon is released as a take my spot in the arena. it's corners me as it's eyes stare in mine. At that moment I figured out what I have to do.

"This is suuuch a waste of time! I have better things to do than this!" Tuffnut moans.

Snoutlout almost runs out of breath laughing as I corner the dragon. I push my hooves of the ground and I fly to where it's eyes are. I have to give it the stare.

"I'm sorry I have to do this to you. I'm really sorry, but it's the only way."

I keep my eyes closed for a moment before I open them. I hear a voice from outside the arena.

"DO SOMETHING IDIOT!"

I open my eyes an everyone stares in awe. The dragon stops and cries. It tries to get back in its cage. I fly to the dragon and put my hoof on its belly and I start to tickle him. It seems to like it.

"WHAT THE HECK? That's not even how you train a dragon! You have to train it the right way!" Snoutlout groans.

"She's doing just fine. Shut up." Astrid says with a pleased look on her face.

"Yes you are a cutie. Yes you are." I mutter to the dragon and it laughs cutely.

"Good job Fluttershy!"

The dragon goes back into its cage as I exit the arena.

"What kind of dragon was that?" I ask.

"That was a Gronkle." he says.

"What's that?" I ask curiously.

"It's one of the types of types of dragons that live here in Berk. Round 2 starts in a few moments. This time you'll be training a Deadly Nadder."

I enter the arena as a larger dragon with spikes coming out of its head flies into the arena. I do the same strategy I did with the other dragon. I do the stare on this dragon and it tries to get back into its cage. I start to tickle this dragon as it starts laughing.

"She's not to bad for a pony!" Ruffnut exclaims as she gets up from the floor.

Another two-headed dragon comes out of its cage, then a large red dragon that looked a lot skinnier than the other ones. I did the same strategy for every dragon. I hear another voice.

"Your done Fluttershy!"

I exit the arena to see Hiccup as happy as ever.

"You did great Fluttershy!" he starts jumping up and down cheerfully.

I blush softly.

"Hey Fluttershy?" he asks.

"Yes?"

"I want to take you somewhere. It's really cool!"
