After Jeongyeon left Mom's apartment, everything slowly became real. She realized her daily price she had to pay. She realized the consequences for her actions. She realized that she loved someone. She realized she could love someone and it felt so good for the short time it lasted. For the first time in her young life, she felt that warm feeling in her heart that everyone described as love. She felt it and she loved it. Now it's gone. It's gone forever and there's no way she could get it back.

The tall blonde rode her motorcycle back to her complex and began packing her belongings. She wanted to leave. To run away and never return from her miserable, pathetic life. She ran around the small apartment gathering her things and throwing it in a duffer bag. Kooeu stood at her feet as she wiped the tears that escaped her eye as she packed.

"What do you want rat? I fed you already." Kooeu whimpered as he nudged her head against her foot in an attempt to comfort the saddened girl. Sighing, Jeongyeon sat on the floor, back against the bed, and crossed her legs. The small animal crawled in between the spot on her lap and snuggled himself in as he licked her leg. Jeongyeon couldn't help but pet the dog. It reminded her of her two dogs at her apartment in Seoul. The moment didn't last long, as her phone rang. "Gong Kyungwan." The woman croaked. "Wow and I thought you weren't goingto answer because you don't like me." The Korean rolled her eyes as she rose to her feet gently placing the dog on the floor. "What do you want Park Jimin!" Jimin audibly whimpered on the other line. "Well Boss just wanted to catch up. Talk to him. I'd lose the attitude." The phone made a 'hold' noise before her boss's voice filled her ears. "Gong Kyungwan, how's the mission?" The agent sighed. "Chief Im, I can't do this. I quit. I was compromised because I let my feelings get in the way of my mission and now she wants nothing to do with me. I broke the first rule of being an agent and I don't deserve this job, the money, my life. I willingly accept any punishment necessary. I'm sorry I've failed you and the agency." The blonde sniffed as she cried. Finally letting all her emotions go she hung up the call and cried. She screamed, kicked, punched, threw things, broke things, everything. Kookeu watched from the doorway and waited for the woman to calm down. It wasn't until 7 holes in the wall and a broken hand and brusies later that she finally calmed down, falling to the ground on her knees. Kookeu nudged her arms away from her chest and replaced them with his body. He licked the tears off the female's face. Eventually she fell asleep.

The agent groaned as her eyes met with the bright white hospital room. "Oh good you're awake. Looks like you had quite a night. Those bruises are quite gruesome." The doctor spoke humorously. "What an I doing here." She croaked, voice hoarse from the crying and screaming. "Well this gentlemen who says to be your landlord said her heard a ruckus and went to investigate. He saw your door open and walked in. He found you on the floor in your bedroom. Said it looked like you were attacked by someone." Jeongyeon tried to remember exactly what happened last night. She remembered quitting and hanging up on her boss. From there it was a blur but she members wiping everything off the dressers and stubbing her foot on the bed frame. Then she remembers pulling out various weapons and throwing them amuck. She threw her favorite knife at the wall and stomping towards it and grabbing it out the wall; She punched the wall when she couldn't get it out. That's all. She couldn't remember where any of the bruises came from but she assumed her busted hand came from punching the wall. "Well, luckily the most severe thing you have is a broken hand. Don't put any pressure on it. Don't do any strenuous activities. You can go to the front office to get the discharge papers whenever you're ready." The doctor smiled before leaving.

Jeongyeon sighed as she walked through the doors of her apartment. Kookeu was back to his old self and ignored the girl as she grabbed her bag and put it at the front door. She grabbed Kookeu's doggy bag and put the dog in it. Of course, the animal decided to throw a fit and wiggle out of the bag. Jeongyeon reached for the dog and he bit down on her injured hand. Jeongyeon cried out in pain as she gripped her forearm and kicked her feet. Feeling guilty Kookeu sat in the dog bag patiently and waited for it to be zipped up.

4 hours later, Jeongyeon was back home. She sighed as she began walking down the street to the agency. It took her a while to arrive and when she did she was surprised to see her boss, or ex-boss, waiting in the lobby with a newspaper. All the lights in the building were off except for a small lamp that towered over the newspaper-reader. "I was wondering when you'd arrive." Jeongyeon stood in place. "Jeongyeon, you are one of, if not, the best agent we've ever had. I can't stand to lose you. I've known you since you were 14. I practically raised you. I can't bring myself to let you go over one little mistake. You know why we have no one that knows what happens to people that get compromised? Because they all get their memory erased. We erase their memories of the last, however long there mission was, and we erase the memories of the person who was the mission. I know you are familiar and very close with Park Jihyo. Her brother is living in the US. He's been there for about 10 years now. I forbade him from reaching out to her for her own good. He misses her dearly." Jeongyeon let everything settle in. "Why are you telling me this." The man shrugged. "I don't know. Anyways, don't quit your life over a person." Jeongyeon nodded. "Tell Nayeon, that I have her dog. He's at my apartment. She can get it whenever she has time."
