"can i take your order?" i asked, hopefully now on my last order or near enough to the end. i looked up to see a tired out woman with two kids, she looked drained of life and really uneasy. her hair was beautiful and black but really thin. her smile was still white, trying to hard to be perfect though. her eyes had lost there touch, baggy and dark.

"yes... can i just have two happy meals please?" she asked, what about her food? she looked way to slim to not be eating.

"anything for yourself?" i asked, she just shook her head. i just smiled fake-ly as she smiled back.

i grabbed the order of two happy meals and a double cheeseburger meal and walked over to table 12. it was that busy now seeing bad it was 7:30pm or something. that woman who ordered her children's food ordered nothing for herself but i couldn't see her go without. plus, she was digging through her purse to scrape out the total of this somewhat cheap meal for her children.

i walked over to the table, placing the food towards the children. i then handed her the double cheeseburger meal and a £20 note just to try and help out. i mean, it's just common decency for when you see someone struggling.

"what is this?" she asked, trying not to stumble over her words as she stood up. i smiled at her, she hugged me tightly around my neck as she cried into my shoulder. i hugged her back, unaware of how much this would help her. it was only a small deed on my end, i didn't know a cheeseburger would mean so much.

"thank you.." she smiled as she sat down and spent some time with her amazing two kids as a single mother.

"can i take your order?" i asked the last customer as i finally met their gaze, and was i impressed at their looks.

"can i just have a iced latte frappe please, also some mozzarella sticks and a medium fries?" he asked, his irish accent pulling me into a normal reality.

"would you like anything else with that, sir?" i asked, somewhat happier than any other order.

"your number?" he asked, i was shocked at took back at his words.

"i'm sorry, i cant do that-" i instantly stumbled as he smiled, his smile was so gorgeous. but, he was definitely straight.

"oh come on, don't be like that. you're a cute guy, pretty cool too.." he told me with a huge smirk on his face. i don't know why, i couldn't hold back. although i couldn't see very well at all, he seemed the most colourful thing in the room. he seemed to glow for me, i don't know why..

"okay, sure.." i smiled.. i actually smiled.
