(Some peeps commented how creepy Shade looked when I first drew him and that's wasn't fully on purpose, his general innocent look should've been there but I messed it up, but you can see it better here! Heck, Nala's supposed to be on the ground on grass but it doesn't look like that-)
Nell and Nala have always been close.
She almost lost him twice, but what if the second time she actually did by accidentally finding out his secret?
(The reason her eyes are like a television screen at the end is because of this 'headcanon' thing I have for this world, so when they feel empty, too emotional, or they suddenly snap and realise something, their eyes become 'blank' for that moment. It's mostly just a symbol for sudden realisation.)
